Good on him for not sperging out completely and embracing it compared to a lot of other cows doing something embarrassing, but this could easily turn into a beaten dead horse joke if he keeps up with this.

An Verbalase update video came out a month ago that was not posted or discussed here.

"What Happened to Cartoon Beatbox Battles?"

In this video Verbalase seeks to explain why he's gone from a animated beatbox series to Puppet Beatbox Battles which features less animation and relies more on playing with puppets. Before he even gets into the story he starts complaining about people not reading a lengthy community post he made about the issue, asking "when did we become too lazy to read?". He then goes on to talk about how CBB started going downhill in terms of views and revenue due to Coppa. In fact, he actually directly mentions a point made in the OP of this thread. He gets mad about people mentioning the intro for the Patrick Vs. Thanos CBB episode where he talks about how "Due to youtube changes he would not be able to pay the animators." and states that people have been trying to use this against him and connect it to the Hide Away AMV. He claims the intro was solely about the COPPA situation and that people did not do enough research. I do not know if he is directly talking about the thread with these statements or if this is also just a criticism that has been spreading in general. I think it is definitely possible that he has seen the thread though. He says that he mentioned COPPA in the video which makes it confusing why people did not pick up on that point. However in the clip he shows he only states that he won't be able to pay his animators "because of the new youtube changes." This statement is vague and does not outright say COPPA is to blame. He then goes on to talk again about how expensive the 2D animation style was and how the algorithm screwed him over during season 2 and how he was not happy with his animation team apparently not being able to stretch facial expressions enough to match his vision. He then goes on to praise PBB and his new team. He continues to talk about how people online don't do enough research and are willing to believe lies spread about him without evidence. He promos the upcoming Bendy vs. Cuphead, says how much he loves his supporters who don't "believe the CRAP", and ends the video with his trademark catchphrase.
Video Description:
Hey Everyone, I decided to make an actual video of the things I have written down months ago, because a lot of people didn't want to take 5 minutes to read it all. We gotta do better - reading, researching and studying makes us smarter and not gullible to believe whatever is said on social media. People who chose to judge you without knowing you in person have no power. I don't like making videos like this, I'd rather just focus on more Beatbox battles, but I believe I owe my REAL fans an explanations as to why CBB is no longer happening at the moment. Regardless, I am going to keep going and never give these negative people any power! Much Love and Respect to you All! =D
Comment on the video about people claiming he was married.:
You know it's crazy, a lot of people were saying that I was married and had a kid. I think if I was married I would literally remember the whole thing lol. It's crazy how much rumors can spread cuz I'm finding out stuff about me that I've never heard of. Apparently I'm homeless, was married, broke, and associated with the dark side of Hollywood? Like, where these people coming up with their crazy suggestions? It's scary and weird! 😐"
Comment about his plan to one day return to CBB by getting his views up with PBB:
"@DayTheSagaStar_14 I Honestly want to bring it back, just need the views to get back up. I want to do something like every season finale of PBB will be animated..of my views go up more, then it will turn into every other episodesl, then finally back to CBB. 🤓"

On January 6th. he released another update video about Puppet Beatbox Battles

"Puppet Beatbox Battles Update 2025"

He announces he has a new animation team involved. He does not clarify whether this team is replacing the old team or if it's working alongside the old team, but he does state that it means there will be more animation in Puppet Beatbox Battles. His goal is to get it to the point where only the dialogue in between the beatboxing will be made with puppets and the rest will be all animated. He then shows some behind the scenes footage of him using his Bowser puppet. He says he's excited for Marge Vs Lois to come out as well as Cuphead Vs Bendy and then announces Squidward vs Mr. Crocker.

No major VerbalAse updates but since this thread got bumped I'll post some of the brief recent stuff
He uploaded to the second channel (the one that was supposed to save cartoon beatbox battles and his career) for the first time in 8 months. "Goofy Listens To Trap Music" was age restricted but it's unknown whether that was intentional or if that was a Youtube decision.

On the main channel side there's been two updates since his last birthday, one talking about the upcoming Marge/Lois battle which will have the Cartoon Beatbox Battles animators on board for the beatboxes while all the dialogue will be puppets. He says this will most likely be the format for all future Puppet Beatbox Battles. The last PBB was 3 months ago. He also talks about how he's put a lot of current focus on doing more conventions.

The second update was just a small community event where people could comment a verse for an upcoming "mystery solos battle" and the top comment would be credited in the video

The latest main channel upload was "Cartoon Beatbox Battles Mixed Up - Patrick Beatbox". It's just the Patrick beatbox but he spins a wheel to decide what voice impression he'll be doing every few seconds.
