Pffft wow. Coding is not woman-smart anyways. Wait I forgot, women are kinda dumb.
It's not about that, it's about her not having a basic reading comprehension skills.

Python, on top of being a pretty "easy", high level language, is widely used for teaching kids and as a tool for people who are not necessarily programmers. Because of that, absolute fuckton of tutorials and beginner-friendly resources exist, as text, video, interactive courses etc. As long as you can read words in English, you should be fine.

No idea what "woman-smarts" are, but that's not that either. I know quite a lot women who work as data scientist (real ones, not "porno stats" wannabes like Aella), Python and R are the most basic shit they know.

Aella struggling with this and claiming to be a "data scientist" is as embarrassing as a secretary who doesn't know how to use MS Office. Programming skills are by no means an objective metric of intelligence, but imo it shows how little Aella knows about the profession she's trying to incorporate into her logical and science-y persona.

Long ago we saw her trying to learn some basic bitch, high school level programming in Python and boy let me tell you, she's definitely not smart.
I don't know about that. I can program reasonably well, but I'm not smart to the level of some mathematician that can't program at all. I think it's mostly about a way of thinking combined with a lot of practice. Obviously once you start implementing novel algorithms and writing new classes of programs you'd better be smart or you're going to fail, but that's not high school level stuff.

She couldn't comprehend what a dependency is and how to use pip to install it, I think she was trying to process some JSON/CSV with her "data" using either Pandas or numpy.

For a supposed "data scientist" it's literally the most basic skill imaginable.

ETA: found the Python saga, I recommend to read if you haven't, one of my fav Aella moments.

She seems to be the type of personality that won't sit down and struggle through and figure out a problem. She’s so insecure that she doesn't want to do anything that she doesn’t feel like she is immediately good at. This is also evident in the fact she wont take constructive criticism on her data science work and just listens to simps which is why she hasn't really improved at all.

Maybe learning as a kid, esp with her dad , was very confrontational so now any male giving her advice or trying to to teach her triggers her as well. I say this because there are probably hundreds of dudes who would give her a tutorial in python yet she refuses to learn…

Yes, it's evident in her Twitter thread I linked.
>"Hurr I am too smart and goal driven for Python tutorials, I will figure this on my own!"
>Fails miserably and gets angry
>Runs to her simps for help
>Gets annoyed at simps telling her how to do it because she still doesn't understand (yet still blindly copies commands they send her)
>Stops mentioning programming after that (as far as I know)

I don't think it's that deep. This kind of attitude is very common in people who "just suck at XYZ" (often mathematics) as well, like a type of learned helplessness.

Yeah it’s true, many people lack any kind of resilience or skill at learning. It was just a thought.

I think she definitely avoids challenges/ criticism/learning new things to avoid feeling like she might not be super smart and special. It could also be related to how her parents told her she had a high IQ and that she was super smart growing up. Telling kids they are smart can cause fear of failure and giving up which is why the parenting advice nowadays is to avoid that

Am I the only one somewhat happy only 1000 men applied? The number could've been way higher with how many men know about Aella.
It was 1600 but I doubt even 600 seriously applied. There was a lot auto-filtered away and I imagine it was spammed fairly hard. She probably knew which ones were trolly spam ones, too, but decided to frame it as her casually rejecting several hundreds of men who totally want her.

Thanks for that. The more I actually dig into her "career" as a "data scientist," I get more and more legitimately MATI.

Listened to the Blocked and Reported episode on the gangbang. No insight or information that's not already here. They started the segment by calling her a "genuine friend of the pod" so I didn't have super high hopes they'd say anything even remotely critical. Surprisingly, Katie did bring up the being held down to prevent kicking thing somewhat critical and so there was at least the suggestion that they thought maybe she was doing something she shouldn't/her body didn't want to do. But mostly they just take her at her word for everything.

I think that's pretty clear. She hoes because it's a path of least resistance for her. She's hardly the first "high IQ" pornstar. She probably feels like she's in complete control because she's smarter than the goons in her gangbang party. It's not hard to be the smartest gal in the room when you're dealing with uninhibited coomers.

I will say that I have never agreed with Katie more than when she said she'd rather self-immolate than get railed by 32 random internet dicks.

I don't even know what they point of talking about the gangbang was; I finished that segment wondering why Jesse even brought it up, since he didn't attend (thank baby Jesus) and left out the most problematic parts (the biting and kicking) for the sake of it being a "family" pod (wtf, Jesse).

It was basically "hey this chick I think is awesome had a gangbang that she says was awesome and we think that's kinda gross, but awesome." I think he wants an invite next time, because there was pretty much no analysis or commentary. What a weird segment to pick, honestly.

Bizarre how many otherwise sharp posters give Aella a pass. Mostly Jews, I've noticed. Lex Fridman, the Slate Star Codex guy, eigenrobot, now Jesse, many more. That high Semitic sex drive has a hold on them I guess

The rationalist community really makes my stomach turn. Sometimes I ask myself if I'm being too hard on them, but then I remember they are so fucked in the head that they think Aella is ok. She needs Jesus and probably therapy, not internet validation from wordy simps. Or worse, validation from c*liforni*ns.

Ugh she probably did have some really fucked up trauma that caused her to reject religion and family. I hate the community she is a part of because it isn't healthy and it is just cope.
