Thread tax: Aella is an AI doomer sperg and unironically believes we will all die, doesn't even save for retirement.

She also went on a rant around this time about how Ivy League graduates are actually not that smart compared to Twitter rationalists. She must be feeling super butt hurt about not going to college lately. Everyone and everything that has real credentials is dumb and stale and neutered in her recent posts. It's kind of fun to watch her write dramatic fanfiction about what college is like and insist that's the truth to people who actually went to college.

It's shocking how someone with zero technical knowledge who couldn't learn Python thinks they are bigger brained about what's going on moreso than the people who actually developed the technology. It really shows how that community is a bunch of grifters who don't do anything besides yap.

Holy shit, 7 hours... anyone willing to go through for clips? She has been beefing with Andrew Wilson (tradcath debater) on twitter, saying he's exactly like how her dad was.

In the YouTube comments someone put time stamps of all her bits if someone wants to watch.

I didnt watch it all but a few of things I saw - she says she escorted the night before. She doesnt shower after she aggressively wash cloths the area. Then when she goes back to her house several days later she uses a bidet. Andrew clearly found that disgusting.

There was a bit where Brian asks the panel something like “in your opinion should husbands lead their wives”. When it gets to Aella she says she cant answer because she doesn’t know what “should” means. He then calls her out for using low level philosophy. She was really offended and made comments later about how her brain is so small or something. She also mentioned that the world is ending and her boyfriend is working to stop it and they just let it to by lol. She also said she wants “genetic offspring” despite saying a momebt earlier the world was going to end in a few years and i feel like they should have askeed about that.

The andrew guy also pushed back on her research saying her samples were really biased and they dont provide useful information. The other host made them shut up because it was too boring but i think they picked it up again later at the end of the show. I didn't watch that though. She’s pretty boring and comes off as autistic or, to me, an autistic act (pick me girl for rationalists/ autists) and not very smart.

This is something that people who pretend to be very smart often do when debating or engaging in critique.
They will zero in on some very generic word such as "society" or "requirement", claim that this isn't "defined" and then proceed to ramble on about the supposed definition of this word.

Her faking autism sounds intriguing, what are the telltale signs of this?

Well it’s just my personal opinion. She gets very pedantic with words and tries to use things very literally, the way an autistic person would. But autistic people are not really self aware of this and she seems very self aware of what she is doing to me.

I sat through Aella's Whatever Podcast episode and took notes... They kept running in circles and it is extremely boring, including the moments of tension so I wouldn't recommend anyone to watch it. I am surprised so many people donate to this show.

(I am only posting the parts that are relevant to this thread.)
  • Her self-introduction is "I'm Aella, 32 years old, originally from Idaho but now living in San Francisco. I have no education, I was homeschooled. I make most of my money through research but I've also done sex stuff of varying sorts in the past."
    • The host Brian Atlas asks when she started do sex work and she responds "2018."
    • She describes the scope of it as "I have ads online, people e-mail me asking to meet up, then I'm like yeah, they show up, we go to a hotel room and they give me money."
  • She says she escorted last night.
    • The hotel room she stayed in was paid by a "lovely gentleman who was really great."
    • It was the same hotel as Candice Horbacz, a former sex worker sitting next to Aella on the panel.
    • She charges $4000 for the first hour, then $1000 for each additional hour of escorting. The price would be "$40.000, maybe $30.000" for 24 hours.
    • Yesterday's client paid for a couple of hours.
    • She claims it doesn't happen that often nowadays because she makes more money writing.
    • She was one of the earliest on OnlyFans and signed up in 2017. When it "first hit", she was "making $100.000 a month very early but she doesn't work on it that much anymore because it's repetitive."

  • When Brian asks about her relationship status, she says she is polyamorous and has been dating the same person for 4 years.
    • This is her longest relationship ever.
    • Her partner is cool with her sex work and having sex with other men.
    • He is "probably banging more people and their body counts are head-to-head on the spreadsheet."
  • The panel talks about "pity sex" and she says she did it when she was young.
  • She's "always been polyamorous."
    • The first time she heard about polyamory, she decided it was "unambiguously her and she's never doubted it since."
    • When she was a "teenager and very Christian", she thought "monogamy is the thing but when she tried it, it failed."

  • Brian brings up Aella's yearly stats.
    • Everyone is bewildered by her lack of showering.
    • He asks if crying and having sex ever happens at the same time for her and she says "Ideally, yes, if it's good sex."
    • The least she has showered in a year was 17 times in 2019.
    • She has only showered twice this year.
    • She noticed her skin started turning darker from the dirt that was accumulating when she didn't shower enough.
  • Andrew Wilson asks if having more sex than showers implies she doesn't shower between clients.
    • She explains her "whore baths" where she spot washes with a washcloth, "scrubbing herself until she is in a bit of pain."
    • She "uses her bidet aggressively until she sandpapers a layer of skin."
    • She hasn't showered or used a bidet since having sex with her last client.

  • Brian reads Aella's "About" page on the Knowingless website.
    • She was homeschooled from birth to the end of high school. Her parents were Evangelical fundamentalist Christians.
    • They thought the Westboro Baptist Church was "cool and were 70% closer to them than normal Christians" but they were Calvinists.
    • After losing her faith and failing to attend college, she turned to a series of "shitty jobs" involving factory work and waking up at 4 AM. She "escaped" it by doing sex work.
    • She spent a year getting addicted to LSD.
    • She was one of the top OnlyFans creators until "her attention span ran out."
  • She says she has been doing sex work since she was 20, which would be in 2012 unlike her earlier claim of starting in 2018.

  • After mentioning Aella grew up in a patriarchal household, the panel discusses the question "Should women be subordinate to men when they're married?"
    • She asks "Should, for what purpose?" and Andrew counters her by saying he "knows what she's doing by engaging in this autistic, low-tier philosophy."
    • They argue semantics for minutes and get passive aggressive.
    • She eventually answers "For happiness, a lot of people would probably be happier if their husbands led them. I would not be that much happier but I am not normal." and "Some people would be happier and some would be sadder."
  • When asked "Who should get the final say in your own dynamic?", she says "You should probably bet on it or who would want to pay more, or make prediction markets to figure out. I don't know, I don't operate by these norms but I know a lot of people do."

  • Brian mentions Aella selling her eggs.
    • She claims she's talked to some inquirers.
    • She just did her first round of freezing eggs a couple months ago.
    • She would ideally sell them for "about $100.000."
  • She believes "we might get genetic engineering soon", so "maybe she will do a whole bunch of them to do genetic engineering experiments on."
  • She doesn't think she would do surrogacy, "seems like she could pay someone else to do that" but she would "definitely carry a child for $5.000.000."

  • Brian shows Aella's birthday gangbang chart.
    • The men involved kept track of what was happening with sharpies on her leg and they signed a guest book afterwards, which she calls "really sweet."
    • She says the time limit was "2 minutes per guy" but in her blog post, she wrote it was 3 minutes.
    • She describes the gangbang as a "blur" when asked if she gave extra time for anyone she liked.
    • The first guy was the virgin who shouted "Leeroy Jenkins!" and they popped confetti. He was in his mid-20s. He wore a heart monitor and gave her the data of his heart rate.
  • Brian asks if she's partaken in more gangbangs and she says she's "only done it that one time, she actually didn't like it very much and just wanted to see what it was like."
    • The reason why the gangbang happened was because she was in a non-consent orgy with wristbands where "11-15 guys ran a train on her" and it was "fantastic and she was glowing afterwards, she felt so good for days, it was like she did a really good psychedelic and it was so amazing."
    • When her partner saw this, he said "Wow, sounds like it was really good for you, so I will try and arrange an even bigger one for your birthday." but she thinks "because of the logistics, the magic wasn't there."
  • She's done "7 or 8 consensual non-consent orgies" in total.

  • She calls herself a "whorelord" because she writes "guides on how to do it if a girl's interested in getting into it."
  • The "vex worker" in her bio refers to how people are horrified by her moral conundrum polls like "Is bestiality wrong and are you a vegan?"
    • Candice mentions she has also talked about the same topic at dinner when they were in Colorado.
    • Aella says "It just seems a little funny that we have different standards for intercourse versus killing and eating. If it was me, I would rather not be killed and eaten. Just an example, people get really mad at me for that one but I thought it was relatively straightforward."

  • She elaborates on her dating survey.
    • She picked one of the top guys and was not attracted to him but "brute forced through the first date", she "forced herself to have sex with him." She says that's her current partner. It was "curiosity sex", not "pity sex."
    • She contacted the top scorers and he was amongst the highest, asked him "Date?" and pointed at the graph she made of his score. He said "Sure, 3 days in an Airbnb?" and she agreed. This was the first time she "seriously talked to him."
    • She thought "If I'm going to figure out if I should date you, I should probably have sex with you." She was "not attracted to him at all, found him really annoying at the time but he's much better now."
  • Brian says "Do you want kids?" and she shares that she would "like to have genetic offspring."
    • He asks if it will be with her current partner. She replies "Yeah. Well, he doesn't want to, it's a very long story that is probably not going to get communicated but I think world's going to end relatively soon and he's working on that pretty hard, to stop it I mean."
    • Brian and Aella have the exchange: "If you have kids, you cannot tell them I wasn't feeling your dad at all, I wasn't into him." "Why can't I tell them that? I would definitely tell them that if I had them." "He's not upset by that?" "It's the truth." "Sure, but feels like it would be hurtful." "Pain is just coming into contact with reality and when you're in contact with it, it doesn't hurt you anymore."
  • She talks about the time her partner told her she wasn't that pretty once and "that was pretty rough." She was like "Ow... but it's actually pretty good."
    • She ran a face rating survey and was rated a 4.6 so she is "in fact, not that pretty."
  • She is attracted to him now.
    • The sex "got better by about the sixth time and now it's the best she's ever had in her life."
    • She thinks there are other benefits going for him like his "high status in her rationalist community" and she finds that quite attractive.
    • She "made herself have sex with him because she was interested in bonding with him."

  • She did a prediction market about appearing on this podcast and it said there is a 27% chance she will regret it. She is "feeling no regrets so far."
  • Her "research" has not been published in any journals.
    • She doesn't get clearance by the IRB.
    • She has no academic association or formal training.
    • There is one paper going through right now in conjunction with evopsych academic Geoffrey Miller.
  • She collected 800.000 completed responses for an extensive 40-minute survey which she claims to be one of the largest databases about human sexuality.
    • Andrew says "Often times, the sample sizes for her surveys are pre-loaded with tons of teenagers." Aella confirms "Yes, it's primarily young. The average age is 22 and the median is a little bit lower." He asks "Isn't that a biased sample size?" and she responds "Absolutely, it's not representative of the general population." so he says "Why should we take any of it seriously then?" She insists most published data in sex science is either equally as or more biased than hers. They argue for a while about this subject.
  • Aella was "horrified to find out they normalize IQ tests based on gender", and men "might be more intelligent on average even with male variability included."
  • She posted a survey about whether her followers think she has autism or not.
    • The majority vote was "Yes."
    • She has never been diagnosed by a professional.
    • Andrew jokes "I did a survey with my community and they all thought I was autistic too. Diagnosis doesn't matter, if the community says so, it must be true." and she tells him she didn't say that.

  • Her response to the viral "man or bear" debate is "man."
  • When the panel discusses fraud on OnlyFans, she asks Brian what he thinks about fake orgasms in porn.
  • She hired a chatter for her free OnlyFans as an experiment.
    • They were terrible at imitating Aella and sounded nothing like her but her account's success skyrocketed. This caused her to realize "These guys actually have no understanding of who I am and no desire to engage with me as a person." which made her sad because she "thought men cared more than they do but it's possible that she is filtering for the wrong kind of man."

  • She says she is down for "truth finding" and not having a public battle with Andrew because she doesn't like his debate norms.
  • She rates herself a 4.6/10.
    • She clashes with Andrew about the definition of "judge" in the context of judging other women's appearance because she views "checking your place in the attractiveness hierarchy" as a different thing.
    • She doesn't like arguing for arguing's sake and asks Andrew if he is "an argument LLM."
  • Aella's cadence reminds Brian of Alyson from American Pie. She has "never seen the movie because she was homeschooled but she should watch it."

  • She thinks she will not look better in 10 years and she did look better when she was 10 years younger.
    • Brian shows the guests their AI generated aged up and gender swapped versions.aella (1).jpgaella (2).jpg
    • He asks Aella if she would date the male version of herself and she says she could "brute-force it."

  • They talk about whether body count matters or not and if men who care about it are insecure.
    • She says "Yes, they are being insecure but I strongly defend the right of people to be insecure. I think it's fine."
    • She shares that her body count is "probably in the low 500s, maybe 550, about 450 were clients and 109 were unpaid."
  • She says "A good portion of the US is very religious and goes to church regularly" and these people aren't the ones partying. Andrew pushes back because he thinks most of the country is not that religious.
  • Brian brings up statistics pointing towards a correlation between high body counts and infidelity.
    • Candice and Andrew argue about sample sizes. She calls his attitude disrespectful and interruptive, saying he is not debating in good faith.
    • Aella and Andrew have a lengthy disagreement about her claim that controls are not necessary for scientific research. He gets frustrated and calls her a "fucking dummy."
    • Brian proposes hosting a 1v1 conversation between Aella and Andrew. She says "Absolutely not."
  • Candice says Andrew has been disrespectful to everyone on the panel, then ragequits after an argument where other guests also voice their issues with him.
    • Aella tells her "I'll leave with you if you want." and leaves the table, saying "I'm going to go check on her, I'll be right back."
    • She comes back less than a minute later to say "Sorry for the quick exist but I gotta go. I told her I would come. I wanna be with her, it's okay. You guys were lovely."
    • Her final line is "I don't like you very much." towards Andrew.

I forgot about the Python episode. She couldn't learn it because she spent all her character generation points on the wrong Type of Intelligence™️. Or her simps just couldn't explain it in the specific way that would allow her big brain to grasp.

Didn't she say a while ago she'd broken up with her boyfriend because he didn't want kids? Who's this relationship of 4 years then?
Yes, they both posted Google Docs files about it, which is apparently normal behavior in "Rationalist" circles. This might be a shocker, but Rachael is a liar. She was caught in several lies just in that podcast panel, but it's easier and less awkward for people to just let them go. It is really exhausting keeping up with someone's lies when they lie like her.

I had a feeling she went back to him. Sounds like it's him she's talking about since she says in the interview that he doesn't want kids.

She went to a bunch of conferences to try and meet men and learned there's probably no one outside her immediate community that's interested.

Aella still doubles down on her pro-early porn introduction stance, claiming it helped her develop a healthy sexuality.
aella (1).jpg
Is she really that sexually liberated? Most of what she talks about is being upset that other people don't find her boring weird neurotically planned sex life interesting or something to aspire to.
