Rebekah Jones, whose own son was nearly a school shooter and she herself has a stalking conviction, tries to bring up the black-white disparity in sentencing via a child death from malnutrition case. The first involved a Jewish woman giving her child raw milk; the second was a black woman whose emaciated child died during Hurricane Katrina. Link / Archive

Rebekah Jones claims to speak for black people and the terrible racism they face, yet enjoyed some of that white woman privilege when she got only a year of probation for cyberstalking. Her son also faced charges at the age of 13 for threatening to shoot up his school.
The 13-year-old son of a controversial Florida data scientist was arrested Wednesday and accused of threatening to shoot up his former middle school.
The boy is the son of Rebekah Jones, a scientist and fierce critic of Gov. Ron DeSantis, who claimed she was fired from the state's health department in 2020 for refusing to censor Florida’s Covid-19 numbers.

Her son, who is not being named as he is a minor, was charged with written or electronic threat to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism, a second-degree felony, the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office arrest report said.
The arrest report shows that several students in the area of Navarre, Florida, reported seeing Jones' son's alleged threatening memes and messages on Snapchat and Discord — but his mother suggests that his arrest was politically motivated.

"Yeah my son tried to do a Columbine but IT'S POLITICALLY MOTIVATED AGAINST ME! MY SWEET BABY WOULD NEVER DO THAT!" A warrant was served and everything. She tried to play the victim. I think Black Twitter would have a hoot if they found out a white liberal woman has a le edgy teen for a son.

I know, I have family from that area (before they moved to Tennessee).

General rules, for those that do not know:
- Do not look anyone in the eye (unless it’s a waitress/cashier).
- Do not act cocky but don’t act timid either. Act like you belong there and you aren’t afraid of shit if it goes down.
- If shit actually goes down, run.
- Wear sunglasses. Wear the cheapest shit you’ve ever owned.

- Life insurance, think about it.
- Do not try to buy drugs you think are cool for “just this once bro.”

- Drunken idiots are a dime a dozen. Your police report about stolen money will never make it beyond the first garbage can.
- Morris Bart is probably a vampire.

Saying all that, New Orleans is a special place, almost like you can feel it in the air. It’s beautiful. I can understand why someone would want to live there. Thank you, Taco, for trying. There really is nothing like that place. When it wants to be good, it’s good. Or rather, it’s the archangel Lucifer’s version of good. And it’s…fantastic.

Seriously if you're considering working as a teacher in the public school system considering you might be put into an inner-city school just switch careers and work at the zoo the animals there are much more well behaved.

There is a lot of truth to that most major cities back then had black business centers in the black communities but once segregation ended even in Northern Cities where there weren't signs, but they would jack up the rent for blacks until it became illegal and once all that ended a majority of those black business left their communities for white business areas to make more money and have less theft. The ones left behind died in those neighborhoods especially after the riots of the late 1960's.

There's more than one way to define a species. The poster that you are criticizing gave an incomplete definition that they were trying to use. Some schools of thought define a species as creatures who are able to interbreed and have offspring that are fertile beyond the F1 generation.

Lions and tigers are not the same species, because even though they can produce offspring together, that offspring is sterile. It's the same reason that donkeys and horses aren't the same species because mules are sterile.

So, dogs and wolves, according to this school of thought, would be the same species, because they can have offspring together, and those offspring are fertile beyond the F1 generation.

ETA: This is actually the de facto way we define species in humans, because if we were to use different criteria, such as genetic differences, or what early human species homo sapiens interbred with, that would imply that certain african populations are a different species, which is generally not the definition people tend to go for
