LLMs are actually extremely powerful shitposters. LLM text full of GPTisms is mostly lack of skill in regards to the person who set the bot up. I give us another year or so and then even pajeet will have figured out how to make an LLM sound natural in a tweet. When platforms then use that data to train their LLMs, (detecting AI text being utterly impossible) LLMs and their writing will start having serious influence on the culture without anyone even realizing it because we humans as herd animals will just fall in line. It is horrifying. But also a bit funny.

As someone who is an artist, I really do not understand the logic surrounding the AI paranoia that's making the rounds on social media. Everyone is so worried about it stealing their "jobs" when the people that generally support them aren't normies or tech-bros, but usually other artists. And the for the people screeching, "ITS TAKING OUR JOBS AWAY IN THE INDUSTRY" I really want to know why they want to support an industry so willing to replace them anyway?

There is this practice in the music industry, that pop artists are often just the face of ~5 to up to ~15 ghostproducers making shit for them. In this way they can release shit every week on the label, tour and sell matching merch for their projects. So a label can just hire/by out tracks from a couple of producers for a few weeks to shit out a years worth of songs basically (spread them out across different artists so it looks organic). To make it even worse, they in turn are also just sampling and reusing samples and presets from older projects to save even more time. This is the modern slop media production that has been the standard for almost 30 years now, and in the last 10 years it has been a meme amongst producers that it's all CTRL C + V music being made.

So everytime I hear normies cry about "muh now we are going to have oversaturated feeds with (AI) slop", I like to remind them that we have had constant "music" slop releases since audio files could be dragged into a DAW, the only difference now is that the retards who setup the projects (that are pretty much just presets anyways) are now going to be paid less since a software can now do arrangement and singing (to some extent) too.

Same goes with Youtubers, they have been releasing slop on a DAILY BASIS for years now, with zero originality (and sincerity)... if a software can make the same slop as they do, they don't deserve the income they have to begin with.

I'm not an artist, I'm pretty fucking awful at drawing. I first saw this when some artist mates were spreading it uncritically. Maybe this is just the perspective of an untrained eye, but doesn't everything here either come down to compression artefacts or artistic interpretation of the character?

I don't think many of these types are smart enough to realise how their constant witch-hunts are gonna absolutely fucking destroy them later on.

Literally half of the 'proof' is oh there's a belt buckle in the slightly wrong place. Idk what they're on about with the sword though, you can clearly see the base of it, it's just darker because of the reflection of the guys arms. The only thing that looks even slightly dodgy is the right side but a background that could be a number of things and is nowhere near enough proof to get pissed off over something especially when the art will probably be too small irl to even notice that. I'll admit the style does kinda look like some models but that's about it.
