AI Art Seething General

How the fuck is using Character AI even stealing from writers, of, like, let's say Jujutsu Kaisen? Those people are actively placing their characters out there for people to see, for people to draw, for people to crush on. Character AI may infact be doing these writers a favor by giving them more gooners who'd do sexual role play with the character they buy lewd figurines of, therefore increasing the clientele and publicity of the series, thus reeling in cash for the creators.

"I highly recommend reading/writing fic or role-playing instead."

Then, when they read the fics, they complain the characters are acting out of character because the gooner behind the screen was so focused on self-insert hugbox or sex fic. Role-playing is for the delusional manchildren and I won't elaborate on that.

Even worse, for fics, it's like they dictate how the reader should act in the situation. I've seen some sensible people call out character x reader for making rape stories seem sexy because the narrative controls how the reader insert would act when being violated. I'm not saying AI doesn't do the same (I may be wrong because I actually find Character AI boring), but at least, with AI, you can delete a chat and train the bot for your preferred role play. In fujoshit fics, you get the author saying "IT'S OK IT'S ONLY FICTION!" and getting into big fights with fans.

Also, it's funny seeing feefal whine about this when both images have their own strengths. One looks like the awesome icon for the "sexy furry wizard male gaze is bad waaahhh" and the AI image looks like the actual appearance. Think of it like a video game scenario.

I mean the one of the left still looks like a woman. I'm not sure why a baby monster fetus is coming out of her belly button. Must be some lore reasons I guess. 🤔

Once more, they hated her because she was right.

It's not being pro or anti that makes a person progressive regarding AI. It's knowing the pros and cons of the advancement of AI and how to untilize it, how to work as one with Artificial Intelligence. The right controls, the right prompts, the appropriate situations, and ethics are what we need to know. Not a black and white pro vs anti argument.

AI is now everywhere. On your phones, on the digital art programs, the games you play, in GPS. You cannot stop it or do anything about it.

People are just jumping on the anti-AI train just to get the awesome internet points from those that genuinely hate it along with other people jumping on the bandwagon.

For people who constantly lean on technology to stroke their egos, they sure are against the potential of utilizing AI further to stroke their egos even more.

BetaEtaDelota (KF thread) is coping about people AI generating porn of his furry characters and encourages viewers to report them.

I would normally agree, this is a shitty thing to do, to a mascot of a children audience having YouTuber. However in this case, a single glance at what this guy admits masturbating to, doing in his free time and commissions porn of these characters doing - makes whatever the AI produced, seem wholesome and family friendly in comparison.

If you all can't use proper English words and capitalise your Is and the starts of sentences then I will be judging you.

Like yea using AI to cheat in school is fucking retarded but also you are literally arguing against the voices in your head my guy. Bit of a strange take coming from someone with a poc pfp, I mean idk insulting someone based on iq sounds pretty racist to me.

I wonder why those people sometimes don't capitalize their letters in tweets? I know there's a word limit on Twitter, but capitalizing a letter doesn't affect the word count at all 🤔.

Why do people keep getting into Character.ai if better options are available? The stuff you can pull with a local llm interface and a stolen oai key proxy or a local model is much more robust. Even if you don't want the hassle, there's still a million other ai chat/rp sites. Even Ai Dungeons is a viable option

please consider the following graphs, which use data from https://gs.statcounter.com/platform-market-share/desktop-mobile-tablet

what you will find contained below is that, globally, mobile devices are overtaking market share over desktop devices. and this phenomena is even worse in places that historically couldn't afford home computers. they jumped from having no computer to spending most of their time interacting through the world through a tiny mobile screen. this is a trend that will continue since those green spikes for first world countries are zoomers and alphas who don't know how to use any electronic device that doesn't have big colorful buttons

the average user of places like character.ai doesn't have any other option than to use a browser based service. statistically they're third world retards typing in "ooga booga, sex chat with bob and vagene, por favor" and clicking on the first link that they see

Are there really that many Indians trying to goon on cai though? I can understand trying to fuck random women on facebook somewhat but isn't cai a bit too advanced of a goon for the average Indian? You'd be hard pressed to get it to even talk about it's tits anyway so they'd probably just give up instantly.

They could have just moved to one of those many chatbot sites that *do* allow suggestive stuff. Just because they're indians doesn't mean they're stupid.

i would say yes. hopefully this next chart is as informative as it is horrifying

Fortunately that's just listing the population of countries that use English as an official language. Pakis and Pajeets only learn to speak English at school, and only some of them even go to school to begin with given only 70% are even literate. And their English learning is usually so subpar that I don't even know if AI can understand the weird babble the average Pajeet/Paki thinks is English. Definitely not the monkey sounds that Nigerians use, that's it's own language as the BBC reminds us.

I more meant in a sense of internet literacy rather than language. Cai is already pretty niche even in actual English speaking countries. Even if you have one character you want to have a wank over cai is probably not going to come up in any search results. From looking at the reddit it seems that the vast majority are obviously young americans. Also apparently most of them are underage or something? I don't know what I'm looking at exactly. Apparently the devs put a 24h block for minors who broke the nsfw trips repeatedly and now the entire sub is people complaining about it. Idk I think the majority of users are american children not show bobs indians.

Using tools to cheat at a government grooming program to teach you useless shit 95% of the time is based. Fuck school, the kids are right to shit up public education with AI slop answers.
While unfortunately true for a lot of schooling, the AI cheating phenomenon has come to include law and medical fields which is just a smidge terrifying.

It's a lot easier to just digitally sign the real pictures tbh. That's tried and true technology and not even that complicated. If artists are worried about their artstyle being emulated without getting credit, that is.

But they're just pissing and shitting themselves and want all progress to stop so I doubt they'll come up with sensible solutions. There's absolutely no way to detect AI artwork at the current level of tech. Really lazy, low-hanging fruit one maybe, but why would you need a detector for that?

I've started playing around with imagegen again in the last few days and things got really, really impressive. I wasn't even aware and I was only out a few months. Even really complicated hand posing like here for example isn't difficult anymore with a controlnet and a reference picture you can either get from google image search or create in some 3d model posing software. It's genuinely over for artists.

Since there's no reliable AI detection, what's stopping you from signing an AI-generated image with your own private key and when asked why the art style resembles another famous artist so much, just reply "oh yeah, I'm his big fan, he was a huge inspiration for me"?
Besides, there's no support for verifying digital signatures on images, users will have to do it manually and nobody's gonna bother.

Nothing, but the argument I hear the most is "I don't want my art and style to get stolen!" and that's a way to mark their own genuine art. As of implementation, they did their own social network thing, they could implement a platform where the images are verified as by the real artist. It could become an integral part of websites with a little blurb below the artwork in question that it is indeed, by this-and-this artist.

It's not all they want but this is as good as it going to get. Fact is AI art isn't going to go anywhere. Take it or leave it.

Of course they're artists and therefore prefer acting like raging assholes to everyone instead, demanding all AI art to "stop now", making sure something like this will never be part of anything. Only making it hard on themselves at this point.
