AI Art Seething General

Is PWA something I can run locally or does it require connection to a proprietary server?
Yeah it's server based unfortunately.

Sudowrite
I use it to fix sentences I don't like

I finished a 200K word rough draft of a trilogy in less than a week with this tool. I'm looking forward to Nano
Jesus christ. I had a look at it and had a little play around, but it's not for me. I get the feeling it'd take all the fun out of exploring the characters and setting and lose all the surprising moments that come out of nowhere. I use ProWritingAid like Sargon said, to help fix things when I'm so far deep I can't see the trees for the forest. If you want to just read a story, I don't see why anyone shouldn't use it.

What a lot of anti-AI zealots don't understand is that boutique handcrafted creations aren't going to go out of fashion. A lot of people appreciate the handiwork and will simply seek them out. If everything is flooded with low quality slop, the quality will become more apparent and valuable.

Are there any writing aid that acts like an editor that reads your work for you and fixes and grammatical errors? I suppose Grammerly would suffice but it's often unreliable.

It can be fickle as well but ProWritingAid does it.
I don't need it to write segments of text, just that I can't afford to hire an editor and I don't know anyone literate enough to read through my garbage writing.

edit: Ok in all honesty, there are people who can edit, a whole community full of them in fact, it's just that the few writing communities I've seen are all generally real annoying to deal with, and I don't want to interact with them as much as possible.

learn how to edit your own work

most of your time as a writer should be spent on reading through your work and making sure it flows well or makes sense
AI is good for getting you through writer's block but it shouldnt be used as a substitute for good proofreading
That sounds haaaarrrrdddd
In all honestly, you are right, I just want to be lazy with proofreading because it makes me physically cringe to re-read my rough draft and come across really embarrassing grammatical mistakes or accidentally gloss over obvious mistakes. Admittedly it's the one thing that has kept me from finishing any work because I get irrationally anxious about looking over my writing and seeing so many obvious mistakes. I've been having this issue for years and I feel like I should try some kind of external tool to get over that hump. I don't know if AI can help but I want some kind of assistance, human or not.

Prowritingaid will literally give you suggestions to tighten up hard to read sentences, check your grammar, look for inconsistent spelling, alliteration, cliches, repeats and so on. The latest feature was a critique report which will show strengths and weaknesses and suggest improvements. If you had a look at what it does you'd see it's not a text generator. Stop being such a faggot when asking for help and get the fuck over yourself, everyone feels the same way when being creative. Everything you write will be shit at first that's what editing and polishing is for. If you don't want to use a tool the best thing to do is speak it out loud and rewrite it so it sounds natural.

Can you elaborate. I'm confused but I think you are onto something
It's a joke, sort of: Simply put, they used the AI to munge together features of an older actress and map them onto a younger one. This has obvious applications both in making realistic fake CP to fap to and the even sweeter to the weirdos goal of generating doubt for for the real thing. "No no it's just that AI stuff".

Wait. If this is true, then why does Vaush hate AI?
