There's another lie in the post - the admins are claiming this is the result of an overactive filter.

The post that kicked this off was a link to a news article that mentioned Challenor in passing. The post itself didn't contain the actual name. The only way this could work is if the filter had somehow opened a link and read the article.

Or y'know if someone interested in covering up the story had specifically blacklisted the article.

The greatest irony here is this action literally resulted in the admins having to confirm Challenor had been hired as an admin and all this info coming out

Possible but his dad’s known victim was a 10 year old girl. By that age, the sex differences between boys and girls are fairly pronounced (as opposed to toddlers and young children) which speaks to a heterosexual orientation.

Challenor was also removed from his mother’s custody and placed in care due to neglect, though I’m not sure for how long and at what age; that would’ve removed him from his father’s presence as well.

What is likely is that David exposed his children to sexual situations and materials— which in itself if child sexual abuse, just without the physical contact. Growing up in a home where pornography is shared, sex is discussed openly and inappropriately, and attitudes towards sex are permissive and without boundaries? Perfect storm for creating a pedo or pedo enabler like Aimee.

I want to say probably not, but its possible. From my interpretation of things, she was hired to play a more community management role given his experience as a moderator. I can't imagine any company as big as reddit would allow user information to be freely accessible to people beyond technical support.

However, it is possible that he had a support interface where they can query user account info.

If they have an employee-led trans group, then they have some amount of troons. And, judging by the fact a lot of woman's subreddits were overtook by them - I suspect many of them are paid jannies as well. I saw someone mentioning that Aimee was a mod on some LGBT-related subreddits for some time and was active in the community in general, so she was probably brought in by this group and that's why vetting process was lacking judgment. And don't forget that he that open letter that lead to multiple radfem subreddits getting nuked, so he is probably quite popular in that crowd.

And now, this very group is probably making threats to oust reddit as a transphobic company if they fire him, which is certainly not a good thing to happen while having an IPO.
