I think it's a problem in British culture that Brits don't like children or care much about protecting them. The working classes do, it's always chavs who attack paedophiles when everyone should be caring about it. But the upper classes pack their kids off to boarding school as soon as they can walk, or leave them with the au pair or nanny to raise, and take the "children should be seen and not heard" attitude. Part of the problem with the grooming gangs was middle class woke social workers not wanting to look racist or islamophobic, but another big part of it was that they just didn't listen to the children or care much about them. They were writing reports about 13-year-olds in BDSM relationships with 30-year old men and saying it was unconventional but perfectly healthy. We also had groups like PIE in the '70s trying to infiltrate progressive politics, and they got pretty far, they were listened to by a lot of politicians and LGBT groups until the lesbians chased them off IIRC.
I remember when I was little and my family went to France for a week, and I thought it was so weird how adults were all cooing over me and being nice and talking to my family. France has its own problems with nonce shit, mostly from postmodernist theory, but it turns out that normal people around the world actually like kids and it's us Britbongs who have the fucked up attitudes to them.
With Venables people made the argument that he was a child himself when he tortured and killed, but then when he was an adult he kept getting caught with child porn, so fuck him, protecting him now is just harmful.

Koronicus - can't find much info. Their posting history seems to suggest they're a straight man who's a male feminist and an ally (bit of an odd choice to be head mod on an LGBT subreddit), but it's unclear. Interestingly they used to support doxxing people (archive), but apparently draw the line at doxxing paedophiles.

Fionacat - Diaperfur paedo extraordinaire who lives with the paedo former head mod that started grooming and having sex with Aimee at age 14.

August-Rose - recently transitioned autistic non binary (needed to change animal crossing name so transitioned within the last year, a regular on /r/autism. Previous described self as woman/female but also mentioned voice training, so I'd assume trans woman). Claims to work in social media/pr, into wrestling and esports. Account is only a year old. American.

RPAN-officersnoo. A bot account for RPAN. Aimee was big on RPAN so potentially has access but otherwise no info.

Timawesomeness - Non binary from Salt Lake City. Seems to be quite young, was a regular poster on /r/teenagers up until about a year ago, when they switched over to /r/youngadults. Thinks calling stuff gay is retarded.

Avia_NZ - New Zealander, non binary. Appears to have previously been a trans woman. Does the old chestnut of claiming that asking what gender a baby is means you're a paedo who is obsessed with picturing the child's genitals. Account is 9 months old.

Kran04 - 16 year old demisexual gay paraboy (non binary).

There's a lot of mods so will come back to this. So far besides Fiona they all seem harmless enough, although I'm going to end up completely amazed if there turn out to be any senior mods who are L, G or B and cis.

The same happened in the US. NAMBLA hitched their wagons to the LGBT community. Lesbians weren't having it and started making a lot of noise about it, passed out flyers, boycotted pride, started shit like the Dyke Marches, and the gays finally realized that supporting kiddie-fuckers is a bad call because those uppity lesbians weren't going to stop yelling about it.

I've tried to explain to people outside "the community" that it was never a community. It was four siblings who managed to look nice once a year for the family photo. Lesbians think gay men are gross sex fiend degenerates, AFAIK gay men think lesbians are shrill harpies who make them look like nags, transsexuals are tolerated in a "that's nice stay in your lane" way, and absolutely everyone dunks on bisexuals because lol go marry someone of the opposite sex and cry about it. This worked out just fine because if one group went off the rails and supported pedophiles or some shit, the others would just ditch them. With no billion dollar industries backing them up, no external support, and no allies in their own community they either had to accept being pariahs or clean up their act to regain the support of the other letters. Now regular LGB and transsexuals are outnumbered by the QTs and outgunned by their stranglehold over Twitter, Facebook, MSM, big pharma, and "Jennifer" Pritzker's army of lobbyists throwing money at anyone who will help strongarm this shit through the legislature. Internal pressure no longer works because they have all the external support they need to just steamroll over the complainers.

The enhanced disclosure only shows if you've got previous convictions or cautions, it doesn't dig into you e.g. grooming a 14 year old via proof on your social media if you never got caught.

Ironically what it kind of does confirm is that Fiona is working in the eHealth department of the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. An enhanced disclosure is what you need when working directly with, or with access to, vulnerable children and adults.
