This was a crappy flight.

Passengers aboard an Air India flight to Delhi suffered a 10-hour trip to nowhere when the plane was forced to circle back to Chicago because all but one of its toilets allegedly became clogged and inoperable.

Air India Flight 126 was making its way over Greenland on March 5 when 11 out of its 12 toilets broke down, with the only working toilet located in the business class section for some 300 passengers to use, View From The Wing reported.

The extended pee-pee dance began nearly five hours into the 14 hour trip, according to the FlightAware tracker, forcing the airliner to head back to Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

“Upon landing at Chicago, all passengers and crew disembarked normally and have been provided with accommodation to minimize inconvenience,” the company said in a statement, citing only a “technical issue.”

“Alternative arrangements are being made to fly the passengers to their destination,” the airliner added.

Air India said that it would offer refunds for the cancellation, but that was little relief to some customers — who claimed they were forced to jump through hoops to get their flights rescheduled or refunded.

One customer said they had booked a first class ticket for their cousin to fly for a wedding in India using their travel LifeMiles with the Avianca airliner.

“We’re now in the midst of customer service hell with Avianca, Lifemiles and Air India to figure out how to get a refund for the miles ticket,” the frustrated client told View From the Wing.

Air India didn’t t immediately respond to The Post’s request for additional information on the incident.

It’s not uncommon for airplane toilets to get clogged, with the issue typically bubbling up when passengers flush unauthorized items down the pipes.

Even just one or two clogged toilets is enough to trigger a flight crew to turn the plane around and land due to the limited number of lavatories available.

It's Air India. You're telling me they didn't have a designated shitting aisle contingency for when the Poos couldn't use the Loos?
Saar, you must be very unskilled in plastics and metallurgy and the science of carpet fibers to assume that the plane could withstand that ratio of Hindu content to Islamic content. One would not wish for the bottom of the plane to collapse over a populated zone. It would be most like a 9/11 of fecal matter scattered across a very widespread area, and the airline cannot be responsible for such devastation. The poo cannot be redeemed in this manner.

Do planes usually return to their origin for a non flight related, but bad enough to have to return, issues? I guess it probably wouldn't have made too much of a difference but going to JFK might have cut down the return a little bit.

It's fucking INDIA. Have you seen the videos of their rail system? Safety has never been a concern for them.

I flew to Tashkent one time via Air India. Never again. I even lost my return flight and flew with Turkish Airways instead of that. Indians are the worst. They are like entitled four year olds who have no understanding of airport or flight protocol for behaviour. I've been on flights of mostly Nigerians, and at least they behave in a civilized manner once they are seated (not before then, though, and don't get me started on Nigerians going through Passport Control. They are awful.)

Isnt this right after that event where thousands travelled there to go swimming in The Great River of Shit and Dead Bodies (Ghanges)
Sure wonder what made them all shit themselves hmm

Air India said it is aware of some social media posts about the unserviceable lavatories on the flight. "We would like to confirm that as part of our investigation into the incident, our teams found polythene bags, rags, and clothes that had been flushed down and stuck in the plumbing. This led the lavatories to become unserviceable," it said.

So it seems unfortunately its not a poetic poo overload but just normal evidence indians are incapable of civilization. It's amazing that when you look at Indian train infrastructure and quality you'd never think theyd be allowed to operate an airline. I guarantee you that this is long term build up and a number of toilets were out of commission before the flight took off. The trash bins were probably overloaded too so numerous suckdeeps thought it was brilliant idea to just flush it down the loo. Just like how they throw full trashbags out of moving trains but a mile high instead.
