I think it's mostly redditors, they talk about it beforehand in posts and then do it.
I'm inclined to agree. They're always talking about how she should be cited for public indecency, and someone said it specifically in regards to that post-- then, lo and behold, someone actually calls. They also talk constantly about how CPS should be called and how the baby should be removed from the home.
With as poo-touchy as Reddit is, and with how religiously Alex reads there (and responds to it), it's hard to leave Reddit out of Alex's thread. It's an essential part of the whole train wreck scene, at this point. I'm not actually sure Alex even knows she has a thread here; she's never mentioned it. I have a feeling that she doesn't really use the Internet outside of social media apps and the Reddit app.
ETA; @often puzzled do you think she's become more of a hoochie mama authentically or has she just leaned into it as she's become less able bodied? It sure seems like shes less able than when she first rolled into the scene. I didn't follow her, but Instagram has been showing me her content since before she got knocked up and even the way she holds herself is collapsing. Her posture is worse than ever and her spine is so curved. Can she even get underwear up under that protrusion SMA belly? She looks so folded up these days.
She's always been sleazy. On her Instagram, she talks about how she shoplifted as a teenager, basically because she knew no one would stop the disabled girl. By college, she was drinking and had SEX written on a wheelchair foot plate. She clearly likes the party lifestyle and can't understand why being a mother is incompatible with that (and gets mad when people tell her that it is). So I don't think that it's a new aspect of her personality (such as it is).
She used to dress nicely, though, or certainly much better than she does now. I think that a significant part of it is her recent lack of qualified caretakers. Nina came from Craigslist or similar, and Noah is a disaster as a caretaker. Back when Mikey was her caretaker, she looked immaculate and even had good hair.
Then another part of the problem is that she neglects her health, PT, and literally everything she
should be doing that might improve her physical being. She's stuck in that teenage phase where ignoring your doctor is the cool thing to do. She won't wear her chest strap (which has been broken for ages), and she won't use her footplates-- that's one reason the foot drop has gotten so bad. All she seems to do is take the twerk juice, when she really needs PT and speech/swallowing therapy, at the very least. And sunscreen. Sunscreen would really help.
As you say, though, it's pretty amazing to see how quickly her condition has deteriorated. It's just . . . everything about her has gotten so much worse, so quickly. SMA belly is worse, she's squashing down more-- and maybe those things wouldn't be as evident if she'd get the wheelchair refitted, which she's needed to do for ages now. I doubt an ill-fitting chair is helping. The foot drop, the receding hairline, the destroyed skin-- it's a lot.
She's been wearing the same tank top (rolled up so that it looks like a crop) for 3-4 days now, and she's probably still sitting on the same tuna towel. This sort of behavior apparently isn't a new thing; she thinks it's hilarious that her college nickname was "Dirty Al," because she was famously so nasty. So, yeah.

Postscript: One more random thing I keep forgetting to tack on: Noah has two other siblings who still live at home. They're either still in college or have recently graduated; they both have fairly locked-down social media, and I've never tried to dig too deeply into them. Can you imagine? Your older two siblings have finally grown up and flown the nest, and now you have the house and mom and dad to yourselves. Except . . . no, your fuckup brother is moving back home, and he's bringing his nasty baby mama and their daughter with him. Brother is now sleeping on the couch (
yes, according to both Alex and Noah, he sleeps on a couch), and baby mama fights with
your mama-- when she's not screeching into her phone at all hours of the day and night. And now social services keep coming to the door. And also the cops. Oof.
