Call me an ableist shitlord but people like Alex are living in fantasy land. Alex wants and needs and deserves to be included in everything--and for real, she's got a point--accessibility is a huge issue for disabled people and society is slow on the uptake of inclusion. Some progress has been made but there's still miles to go.
HOWEVER.
The reality is: the world is NOT accessible or accommodating or inclusive and you need to accept it and work around it. This is the crux of Alex's problem. She won't accept her own disability. She wants to be the girlie pop, sex positive party girl who's also a great mom, advocate and influencer. But, once again, that's not reality. Alex is actually a self-absorbed, ungrateful, attention-seeking, shitty drunk with a huge chip on her shoulder who is demanding and spoiled. She wants special treatment and accommodations for her disability all the while insisting that she's just like everyone else and should be treated just like someone who isn't profoundly disabled. LOLWUT.

Are you referring to the time in Chicago where the visitors to their apartment reported that he was assaulting her?
If I remember correctly he had called the police because she had gone missing, he was too drunk to describe her and started to describe himself (lmao).

She took a bunch of randoms back to the apartment and that probably saved her that evening from being hurt a lot worse than she was.
He was taken to the hospital for "mental health reasons" and ultimately wasn't charged because she chose not to take it further (ie. she needed a caregiver).
He wasn't even arrested, let alone taken to court. He's been remarkably lucky not to have a string of DV offences on his record by now.

This is correct. He did get hauled into a hospital that night and was apparently put on a 72 hour hold, which makes me wonder what, exactly, was going on that night (besides the obvious substance abuse, of course).

And let's not forget that the first time he was hauled in for assault, it was for assaulting his own father.

For current updates: the last social media content from Alex was reposting some random reels to Instagram stories last night, plus a SnapChat selfie 23 hours ago. Nothing new from Noah.

Yes, it’s hit my family too. A healthy male construction type had to take a week off, unheard of, because his turned into pneumonia. He coughed so hard he pulled a muscle. All the kids have had it, one needed steroid tx. I’ve been lucky so far, but few have escaped. From what I’ve seen Alex could not survive it.

Of course, at first cough she goes straight to the hospital so may be able to prevent it from worsening.
