I think she was everybody's special little princess growing up and nobody expected her to live so they didn't see any issue with spoiling and over praising her.
Are there any childhood pics of her? Unpopular opinion maybe but I think she is attractive and compared to most severely disabled kids she was probably very cute and just got used to being the favourite everywhere she went.
She turned out an ego monster because you'd never raise a non disabled kid like that. You'd obviously know they would turn out a complete nightmare of a person. I think it all hinges on she was cute and nobody expected her to live. In a sense people have probably always objectified her and now she objectifies herself.

Adding in to prevent a double post. Redditors are noticing that Noah seems to be a shitty caretaker and that Alex's physical appearance isn't being taken care of.

I was curious about pregnancy in women with SMA and found a couple of barely-watched videos of people sharing their experience.

The (Russian?) lady in this video talks about:

• feeling happy and excited during her pregnancy, but nervous
• lots of people told her it was a bad idea
• found the last few months difficult with significant back pain and inability to eat/drink due to her small stature and growing fetus
• delivered via c-section at 34+3 with 15(?) staff involved in the operation, under local anaesthetic
• remained in hospital for 6 days
• baby weighed 1.6kg (3.5lbs) and was 44cm (17 inches) long

The lady in this video talks about:

• feeling very nervous when she found out she was pregnant; went to the hospital where she was admitted for three days with lots of tests
• doctors told her they never had a pregnant SMA patient before; she is also diabetic so was put on insulin and a blood thinner for duration of pregnancy
• was very emotional and scared she would die during the pregnancy or during the operation [assuming c-section from this]
• re-admitted to hospital at 6 months preggers where she stayed until she gave birth; they did physiotherapy and she had a positive experience
• doctor recommended not having more children due to risk
• ends video by saying disabled women can have children if their body is okay enough to adapt, but it's not necessarily worth taking the risk

In other news, Alex is apparently 18 weeks and appears to be taking prenatal vitamins. Baby daddy is learning to do her makeup, and she posts several videos on TikTok with one eyebrow done. She's posted a shitload over the last few days but most of them are boring, aside from her wearing the same ratty Champion sweater for what looks like maybe three days.
