Trainwreck Alex Dacy / Alex Dzimtowicz / Wheelchair Rapunzel - 50% wholesome disability influencer, 50% that cash me outside girl

When was the last time she mentioned going in for spinraza? It’s been awhile, hasn’t it?

She's been on Evrysdi instead for a couple of years-ish now. They ship it to her home. I have no idea how that works if she doesn't have insurance, though.

On the heels of revealing that her daughter is with her parents right now, Alex posted this nonsense:

I have a deeply horrifying feeling that she probably had that getup on as part of some fetish thing for OF. She was a cheerleader in middle school and/or high school, so that might be her actual uniform.

Video still:

She took a moment to clap back at da haterz:

Noah also popped up to share his opinion about what really matters: family! lol, jk:

Im sorry, this made me actually lol. Really?!

Were they just like "sure, give the disabled chick some pompoms"? Was she the bottom corner of the pyramid? The visuals I'm getting are great. Alex flopping a pompom back and forth using her elbow pivot move while the rest of the team backflips around her.

I'm not at all against including disabled people as much as possible, but I think if it was me this would have just felt like pandering to an infant.

Sorry for the OT sperg. This just tickled my funny bone.

SMA is progressive, right? Do we have much media of her when she was younger? If she was even able to do stuff like transfer out of a chair by herself or, like, lift her entire arm, that does help my understanding of how her personality got how it did. If she was more independent as a teen, I can see her refusing to realize the severity of her situation as an adult more/ refusing to mentally plan for the future/ insisting she's gonna be party gurl forever. I don't know.

Probably yeah, they just put her in the corner and let her flail the pompoms, or she might have been notionally involved in "setting everything up" or other busy work like acting as a greeter while in a uniform before the football game.

I have this weird feeling Alex is going to get caught doing shit with minors, like soliciting dick pics from someone she's fully aware is 16, or encouraging them to purchase her pornography. I don't think she's a capital-P pedophile, but I just think she's just that sort of unethical and immoral.

I saw an interesting doc, I think on Netflix, about a guy with Duchenne MD who ended up being as disabled as Alex, and dying at 24. He liked to game and had a special gaming pad that he could use. After his death, his family found all his chat logs and gameplay from World of Warcraft. They recreated it to illustrate his in-game life, and turns out he had immersed himself into this fantasy life and had relationships, friendships, and made a difference to many, even though he couldn’t even move. Many of his guild members came to his funeral; the friendships were real. He hid his disability for a long time but eventually told people as the game friendships became real. His family discovered he hadn’t missed out on as much as they’d thought.

Maybe that’s what Alex is trying to do on social media and is failing at. She wants to create the fantasy that somebody as disabled as she is can have a normal life, be sexy, raise kids. But it’s not working because we can see how bad off she really is. If she buried herself in a role playing game where nobody saw her she might have a better chance of living out some type of fantasy life, but doing it with her real situation won’t work.

I know there are two other influencers who have the same disease but the woman with kids is not as bad off as Alex. The man is but he has a caregiver/wife who does everything for him. Alex tried to recreate their lives but finding somebody willing to take that on is one in a million, and Noah certainly wasn’t going to be it. I don’t think Alex will find another. She has to be on Medicare and is probably entitled to round the clock care. I think the 8/5 thing is a red herring, Alex can’t be alone all night.

She's never been able to walk, or transfer herself. Her friends had to lift her onto the toilet in high school.
The functional level she's at now is pretty much what she's always had.
She said could enjoy the pool better before her hip contractures set her body at a 45° angle.

I know there are two other influencers who have the same disease but the woman with kids is not as bad off as Alex.
There are a couple of single women influencers with SMA type 2, I can't remember their names though.
They're very well presented (never naked, never dirty) and seem to be of the same level of physical ability as Alex.
Both have round the clock care.
Tess Daly, that's one. Will edit if I remember the other.

The one I was thinking of is Meg something. She takes care of kids while her husband works so has to be more functional than Alex. I’ve only seen what’s been posted here.

The other is Sqirmy and Grubbs? Not 100 on the name. He’s a disabled guy in pretty bad shape but has a sweet and beautiful wife who cares for him. Both have SMA type 2.

The interesting thing (to me) about other SMA influencers/social media people is that they absolutely never shout out Alex. I mean, we can all see why, but it's very interesting. There have also been people with SMA on the subreddit, including at least one mod.

In other news, Alex and her latest caretaker-bestie have gone on a trip to Miami. It features terrible (really terrible) accessibility advice and is generally a train wreck. They appear to be staying in a fancy-looking AirBnB.

But first, a word about OnlyFans (from a few days ago):

She shared a bunch of content via SnapChat. I just captured it from a desktop view while not logged in-- no idea if that's the best way to view it.

Oh honey, your back. Alex probably doesn't weigh much to be fair but there are just... so many things wrong with this, between scooping her up, fucking up her back, and setting her down in her lap that I don't know where to start. You get what you pay for, I guess.

I'd been wondering for a few weeks now if Salina had possibly moved in with Alex. There's no way Alex can afford the rent on her own, and, without Noah, she'd been spending nights alone. Late yesterday, Salina posted this to her own Instagram story:

Half-nekkid in Alex's apartment. Besties and now roomies?

Also, I'm pretty sure that's a Playboy Bunny navel ring.

OK, I have zero experience with receiving or providing assistance for disabled people, so I might just be mistaken, but this relationships seems really inappropriate to me. I get that you of course can (and probably should) be close to your caregiver, but it's still a person that is getting paid to "hang out" with you and I really see a huge issue with the power dynamic of it. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but I'm almost getting the feeling Salina is leading Alex on a bit. All that "bestie"-talk seems a one-sided to me..

It seems inappropriate because it is inappropriate. In Alex's case, she's also the employer and (maybe?) landlord/subletter.

Good carers can (and should) be basically part of the family. They're dealing with the daily, sometimes very intimate routines of people in vulnerable positions, and are generally privy to every secret, every scandal, an every family story a person has. They will know literally everything about their client/employer.
But they also should be keeping a certain professional distance, because in the end... They're getting paid to be there. And one false move - from one or the other - they're getting fired, quitting, or getting taken off the mission.

In any case, they shouldn't be living together in a one bedroom apartment. Even if Salina has to work overnights, she should have a separate sleeping area.
