So, I'll start with the real answer to your question. He plays it up for Kiwi, I was able to get him to commit that he is a bored disabled person and the thread gives him something to do, and certain aspects of his lunacy on Kiwi are fake, but probably not the stuff you think.

For a while he said nothing but "I am king" and that was entirely fake for kiwi, for example. He also really believes in global illuminati conspiracies and typical alex jones conspiracies. He does this weird thing where he will sometimes decide someones avatar is really them and I think he just thinks hes being funny and making banter, but he really commits hard to it and for so long that I'm not sure if it's fake sometimes. His obsession with Kate is real and completely unhinged, he talks about her constantly will bring her up randomly without prompting, and is constantly planning for their life together, which he really believes will start any day now. The only thing he really talks about that isn't kiwi, conspiracy, or kate, is tribes. Boy howdy he does not shut the fuck up about tribes. I honestly thought tribes went under and wasnt a thing anymore, but apparently you can force it to connect to hirez's other servers by changing some info in the ini and make it work. I can't imagine this game has any more than 100 concurrent players anymore and it is ALL HE TALKS ABOUT.
