I was curious about the full story behind this schizo, so I went digging. Like most cows and their orbiters, Dare and k8 are terminally online. What he didn't post, she did. Between his insane rants and her obsessive crusade for justice, we get a real blockbuster. Head injuries, corrupt cops, daring escapes from Cuba...it has it all.

This ended up much longer and more autistic than I intended, so I spoilered it into sections.

Spoiler: The dating phase

The most objective source of early history is a police report in response to a complaint k8 made against the police. It seems Dare and k8 began their rocky romance around February 2013, dated for six months, then broke up in July 2013.

At some point during this time, Dare got smacked in the head and ended up with drain bamage.


Loyal k8 traveled uphill both ways through the freezing Canadian winters to visit him in the hospital. He returned the favor by posting insults and lewds. Healthy relationship.


What did k8 do? Got back together with him, of course. In October 2015, they started dating again, and things went south. Literally.

Dare coerced(?) her into a vacation to Cuba with him. He got drunk and rapey, and she freaked out and ran home. Then, like mature adults, they had a fight over Gmail and she posted it online.

Dare began his trademark harassment campaign after the breakup, including threatening voicemails.

By March 2016, k8 had enough and filed a complaint. Dare was granted bail on condition that he wouldn't access the internet.


He promptly violated his parole. The police fucked around for a year, ignoring k8's repeated reports.


In March 2017, Dare was given a suspended sentence and one year parole, this time with no internet ban. Understandably pissed, k8 filed the above-mentioned complaint against the police department.

The internal investigation found that Detective Jongdong (the jokes write themselves) had clear evidence that Dare was harassing k8 online.


The detective moved to a different position and the department never assigned anyone else to the case. Oops. They claim they never got any of k8's reports, either.


To the surprise of no one, the RCMP determined that the RCMP had done nothing wrong. In other news, water is wet.


What happened was shitty, but in true emotionally unbalanced fashion, k8 was unable to let it go. She posted her story everywhere, making her online identities instantly recognizable to Dare. She'd rather own the police and get "justice" instead of avoid the smooth-brain stalking her.

She updated her evidence Instagram as recently as January 2022. It contains mostly out-of-context screenshots with poor cropping.
