New Alex video about muh depression.
tl;dw:
tl;dw:
- "enn ess eff doubleyou slash tee doubleyou warning"
- Alex refers to "abuse" and "family issues" (likely including his parents' divorce) a few times, but doesn't want to elaborate.
- Like a lot of spergs, Alex was bullied in middle school. He uses video games to cope. Later, his family moved and he started attending an alternative (read: special needs) high school.
- He found out about gender dysphoria in his junior year of high school, and self-diagnosed with it to explain "most of the bad shit in [his] life", including his self-confidence issues. He says it started a "downward spiral".
- He had a psychotic break because he was "basically being mistreated" by school staff, who didn't use his troon name after he sent a mass email about it.
- Blames his continued depression on the lack of social acceptance of his gender identity, and his alleged schizophrenia misdiagnosis.
- "I hated random erections... I hated the length of my... equipment, in general..." His only other example of gender dysphoria is angst about not having tits.
- Claims he was on antipsychotics for a time, as well as an antidepressant at a different point. Doesn't think either of them helped.
- He hates that turning 18 came with the expectation that he should take care of himself. "You want that? You want to not have anyone care for you out of requirement anymore? And have true unconditional love?"
- Thinks that if he was underage, his parents would be obligated to foot the bill for HRT and surgery. Having to pay for it himself was "a huge blow" to him.
- Alex dropped out of high school because of terrible and "transphobic" treatment.
- He talks about how a lot of his social media accounts were baleeted at around the same time. Sounds like he's about to cry at a couple points?
- Can't go to therapy now, once again because he'd have to pay for it himself.
- He describes how depression feels for him. He has "no emotions" and "no motivation", it reduces his ability to feel empathy, and he can't process stress well. Kind of describing autism here.
- "This video isn't meant to be a thing for hugboxing, this video is meant to be a thing to actually let people know how this shit works."
- "Literally, depression is mostly anger - if you experience any, any emotion at all."
- Closes the video by telling his (nonexistent) teenage audience to treat their gender dysphoria and/or mental illness ASAP.
