Man I hate copyright scumbags. Thing is, if he doesn't actually own the rights, he has managed to fall into pretty much the only punji stick hole that exists in filing BS takedown notices... in that he's misrepresenting himself as the copyright holder. That's a way to actually open yourself up to perjury charges (as opposed to just ignoring fair use)

Dude makes $36 grand for some garbage cool chiptunes, and attacks small youtubers trying to make cents on the dollar on ad revenue.

I think its like 3 copyright claims (passing) to be removed from Youtube. This guy could literally be ruining someone's only source of income over a game that'll be $.99 every steam sale.

Transitioning makes people do goofy stuff.

$36 grand is a down payment on a mortgage and that's not good enough for Alex, the none passing, no-effort trendsexual. We all should start making chiptunes if that's the kind of money that could be expected to rake in.

I think Alex is likely trying to extort money out of his former employers while using the tranny part as a shield for the inevitable smackdown that's coming.

I agree that this is likely part of a mental breakdown. Acting like this goes against every business sense I have, and this is a good way to get blackballed from all future employers for life.

And of course, the only bit of sympathy he gets is some "us trannies must stick together uwu" bullshit. Why is being allegedly trans so often seen as an excuse for being a garbage human being? Entertaining the delusions of clearly mentally ill men with 5 o' clock shadows does nothing but hurt the legitimacy of actual trans people.

He's pretty active on the steam forums, so it might be a good idea to keep an eye on that before the inevitable deletions happen.

Going by how they're apparently trying to get people to be his minions who'll defend him against the big bad Imagos for slighting them somehow it strikes me as pretty likely the sudden shift to troonery is just so people will whiteknight them because they think they're actually a woman - then again they seem pretty unhinged so it might be legit (somehow)

Man,the 'youtube is not a real job' is the biggest shoot in the foot here. Not even Sterling can defend you after that. Your name is ruined both to the industry and the public, so not even a patreon would work.
I hope he doesn't come out good of this, indies really doesn't need more of these nutheads. If he'd get away with it, someone else will take example.

If this were a years ago, the Youtubers he told this to would have no choice but to keel over and any attempt to rebuke it would've been met with backlash from the general public telling them to get a job. Nowadays, Youtube makes for a steadier paycheck than most jobs, but it's also a bigger struggle to make ends meet than before. A lot of people have no choice but to pursue it now. Now the same general public that told Youtubers to fuck off for being sell outs are defending it. Ironic, isn't it?
