his former gf is really good looking. fit, seems successful.
No wonder she dumped him then. Yar brings absolutely nothing to the table, I don't understand what Alex sees in him. He is ugly, personality of a kitchen sponge and he earns way less than her. Let's hope he's at least a good dad, but I'm not gonna hold my breath since it's definitely not in his genes.

She saw someone without enough money or family to not marry the first gilded hog that threw a ring at him. I wouldn't be shocked if she actually proposed and they just staged the rest of it for social media. Now dude went from working some dead end job at the apple store to living in relative luxury and driving a new tesla and working part time and doing "self improvement". He's also objectively not hot so he's not going to have much chance to step out on her. Someone was asking if he was sexting the nurses? Are you kidding me? He's not dampening any panties in that hospital or elsewhere.

I'm really just mostly joking about Yar sexting the [whoever] because he's always so incredibly checked out. To my knowledge, there's no evidence that he's ever cheated on Alex. She keeps close digital tabs on his location, but that's not unlike the cluster B behavior we see in other landwhales (Chantal and Amber being the cases in point). Yar is obviously fond of his costly material possessions, and I, like most other people, assume that's what he's getting from this relationship.

We got a shoutout on Reddit:

ar_01.png

Her subreddit is pretty seethe-y in the wake of the birth.

A further shill:

ar_02.png

She promises the birth vlog tomorrow (so, Sunday):

ar_03.png

The dino feet sleeper is quite cute:

ar_04.png

I don't think we've seen Yar in any photos since the hospital, which probably doesn't mean anything in particular. Still no photos of Alex actually looking at the baby, and she hasn't dropped any hints about the nature of the birth. No middle name announced, no birth weight, nothing like that. I assume she's withholding all this information to get people to watch the vlog, but that's just a guess.

It's funny that Reddit thinks we have "standards" around shit-talking a baby's looks. We just call it like it is: Anderson Pooper is pretty cute.

They should check out Becky Gerber's thread for evidence that we won't mince when a baby is unattractive.

But also, unlike Redditards, we recognize that Andy isn't a surrogate for his Mom's bullshit. He's his own lil human who never asked to be associated with Alex or Yar.

Yes it SHOULD be interesting, but Fat Al can make anything a borefest. Going on her track record since announcing her pregnancy she has been very scant on the details or the footage we all wanted to see, like the baby shower. Sadly, I don’t expect her birth vlog to be any different (that footage is private), nor do I expect her to be honest about Anderson arriving 5 weeks early. Unfortunately, with her track record of dishonesty, it doesn’t matter if she’s truthful or not. The majority of her audience isn’t going to believe her anyway. Unless she comes up with an early induction or c-section due to pre-eclampsia or some other issue, I certainly won’t be believing anything she says. I don’t believe she lied about her due date to put her hate watchers off the trail, because she couldn’t wait to get pregnant and announced it right on that 12-13 week sweet mark. I doubt she’d be able to hold out any longer.

Her subreddit is pretty seethe-y in the wake of the birth.
PriscillaP’s subreddit which covers all the Fat Al reactors is even worse. The Irish Hag Alex alog Jane Friel has been especially hateful over baby Anderson. I’m sure every childcare centre in Rhode Island has now received emails about Alex being a pedophile supporter of her convicted pedophile dad. The uncovering of those letters clearly gave Jane cause to cream her panties with something concrete to try to get all her sponsorships cancelled. Ridiculous when you consider the only people Jane is hurting by this non-stop email hate campaign is Alex and her friends (eg Lily). Meanwhile the actual pedophile is completely untouched by it all. The truth is Jane was an alog well before those letters were uncovered.

I finally watched Fat Al's Fall shopping (boring as expected) via Momma Goob yesterday, and it was refreshing to see a genuinely positive reaction to the birth news. Momma Goob only found out about the birth when she started checking the comments. The other reactors I’ve seen comments from have been disgusting. Newer reactor Alvin, is another on the surrogate train. Not only is she on that train, she’s actually determined that Alex’s cousin Lucia is the surrogate. Her reasoning rests solely on Lucia appearing to have a little stomach paunch at the gender reveal, and Yar smiling at her.

Don't forget Ralph's kids :gunt:

Do you think she had a C-Section to get a more "presentable" baby early on? Surely she's not that vain...

The only thing I would say with any certainty is she didn’t have a forceps delivery. IYKYK! If she had a c-section 5 weeks early, then guaranteed there was a medical reason for doing so. No Ob/gyn would deliver 5 weeks early just for vanity. They would at least aim for 36-37 weeks.

Like most others whose opinions I’ve read, I don’t think Anderson came 5 weeks early of his own accord, but accept the possibly (vs probability). I also don’t think Alex will be truthful about the reason for being induced or delivered, if it can be tied to her super morbid obesity. All indications led to her knowing she was having him ahead of due date for at least a week prior to his birth. The quick dash to Walmart for maternity bras because her Amazon stuff didn’t arrive quickly enough. The target pickup order that was rushed so she could have chomps in her snack pack. The multiple times she mentioned she felt baby boy would arrive early.

I do hope in her birth vlog she at least shows herself in her hospital bed, attached to monitors and a drip. It still won’t shut the reactors up (who will just claim its photoshopped or the hospital set the photo opportunity up for them) but it will give the reactors audience fuel to call the lunatics out even more. The only thing that will shut the reactors up is losing their monetisation. I want to laugh at Fat Al’s stupidity again, not see her, and by extension the cute innocent Anderson, endlessly harassed by jealous, seething, barren hags.

ETA: I’m still going with baby Anderson’s middle name being Thomas, because that is both Yarmayn’s deceased father’s name and Alex’s maiden name.

Good point, it's not really a viable theory because he was early. I wonder if she even knows about that kind of stuff. Probably not.

@Barbarella as the person that wrote Alexandra’s thread I disagree with you. I was pushed to write her thread, which over 6 weeks I did. I had so much help. As a mobile fag I relied on @often puzzled who editted my words added links and could post the thread , @Diet Coke 4 Life who archived vlogs , and @Blackpink who gave us very important information, in particular as well as others like @Lucille's Brands. You are not going to tell tell me what I can or can not write about in this thread.

ETA: Give me all the hats you like but Fat Alex didn’t have her own thread until I wrote it. If I choose to write about Michelle El Khoury (Priscilla P), Tarah (CST), Cornella (I’m just reacting), MommaGoob, Chris in Real life, Carrie (KiK), Alvin, or any other Fat Alex reactor in this thread…then I’m going to do so… without spoilers.

Are we having an O.D.D. moment?

I think she had a lot of restraint in not throwing it in the persons face before that she actually wrote the damn thread. I agree, she made it she can do what she wants with it and somebody mentioned maybe putting a spoiler when talking about reactors I think that’s a nice compromise. If she had ODD she would just delete the damn thing or sabotage it in some wickedly delicious way

You're going to derail your own (clearly) highly precious thread, just as it finally gets interesting. Do you I guess but I'd prefer to just talk about Alex and not have our thread overlord doing MATI reactions on people that the thread isn't about. As for Alex, I'm shocked she's being this...normal regarding the birth so far. Motherhood (and fatherhood) can change people for the better so maybe the kid will have half a chance. For his part Yar def seems involved, although who knows with influencer curation.

I'll also add a link to the yewtube version of this. If you're unfamiliar with Invidious, you can watch the video there without watching Alex directly. It's a YouTube-like interface that will be familiar to those used to YouTube.

As for Alex, I'm shocked she's being this...normal regarding the birth so far.

I have to agree. She's surprising me in a good way.

I'm watching this video-- titled "My Birth Vlog!"-- right now and will add to the summary under the spoiler as I go along.

The intro part, where Alex and Yar talk about how they'll produce content now that the baby is here, is the first 4:30 of the vlog, if you're specifically interested (or not interested) in that part. The birth vlog proper begins at 4:30.

SUMMARY IN PROGRESS

  • Opens with Alex and Yar speaking to the camera. Alex is holding Anderson, who's asleep.
  • Anderson was 5 weeks early. Her water broke "in a shock, and I started vlogging, like, immediately."
  • He's eating well and apparently sleeps well. They both seem bewitched by his little baby noises.
  • Moving forward: you'll see Anderson in this vlog, but, moving forward, they're not going to show his face regularly, and they're not going to be making content about Anderson. The content will still be focused on Alex and her daily life, including her daily life as a new mom. She says the internet is "a really scary place"-- there are "really dark things that come with the internet" (no disagreement from me). They want to protect him, so they won't show his face after this video. Won't show much of parenting and of his life; you'll see more of Alex and Yar instead. They want to "enjoy every moment, without constant criticism." They made this decision together.
  • If they stick to this-- and I really and truly hope they do-- then I'm impressed.
  • They continue to talk in general terms about why it's best to keep your kid off the internet. Alex mentions the "crazy rumors" she's seen about her while she's been pregnant.
  • Yar says we'll see more of him in the vlogs [crickets from the audience] and that he "took a step back from work."
  • If I'm understanding correctly, the upshot is that Alex will still talk about her experience of new mom life and of the postpartum experience, but they're not going to show the baby, and they're not really going to talk about him. Instead, things that concern parenthood will focus on the parent perspective. They seem pretty genuine in their desire to keep the baby offline, I have to say. Who knows what the future holds, but I think they mean what they're saying right now.
  • Birth vlog begins at 4:30 with a shot of them putting newborn Anderson on Alex for the first time. She hears his cries for the first time. She seems genuinely overwhelmed with emotion.
  • Then it cuts to "earlier that morning." Alex and Nancy are at the beach. They're in the parking lot, talking about how they now wonder each time they go to the beach if it'll be the last time.
  • Alex says: "guys, I think I lost more of my mucus plug." Nancy: "I saw it!" They talk about how the baby will come soon. Title card: "little did we know, HOW soon he was coming lol" [sic].
  • They're on the sand now and setting up the chairs. They just heard someone called "Grandma Gigi," and they love it. That's apparently what they're going to go with for Nancy. Some dude on a chair in the background is just watching the show.
  • Vlogging Nancy spraying Alex's legs down with sunscreen because "baby in da way" (baby talk is not it).
  • Lots of beach footage.
  • Now home and watching something (a show?) called "Love Is Blind UK." Bruno hops up next to her.
  • Says she's been having pelvic girdle pain on and off today.
  • Around 7:20, she's sitting on the toilet (of course) and announces that her water just broke. Yar yells something, she responds: "yeah, I'm vlogging on the toilet!" Her hair looks better when it's clean. Yar ran upstairs to pack his bag, because he hadn't done that yet. Alex called Nancy. She's speaking very quickly and is clearly very excited. Any reactor who says she's making this up is only lying to themselves-- this is happening, and her reaction is real. No contractions yet.
  • Drops Bruno off with Nancy. Says it's a good thing Nancy lives near the hospital.
  • More water coming out. She's wearing one of the diapers but is not on a towel. RIP Tesla seat, but neither she nor Yar seem to care (which is appropriate, of course). Oh, wait, Yar does actually check out the state of the seat, but he also looks like he's a bit in shock, to be fair.
  • Nancy's dog (Cha Cha) threw up when Alex called Nancy to say she was going into labor. Alex also called her best friend. Says that she (Alex), the best friend, and her mom all "had a feeling" he was coming early. Bet your doc did, too.
  • Alex says she googled and they want the baby out 24-48 hours after the water breaks. Nancy immediately agrees. I mention this mainly because those who read the Robyn/Luna thread will recognize that these two airheads know something that Robyn didn't.
  • She's just filming a very long interaction with Nancy at this point. It's full of emotion but has gone on a bit too long for vlog content. Some of this should have ended up on the cutting room floor.
  • Around 12:00, we cut to Alex in the hospital. She's in bed and wearing a gown. Monitor is on, and they can hear his heartbeat. Contractions haven't started yet.
  • After they checked her, they discovered that her water had indeed broken, but she wasn't dilated yet. They're going to induce her. It's almost 1 AM. She says she's nervous and looks it. His heart rate is good, and he's head-down.
  • "I needed more time to mentally prepare." -- "I really thought he was only gonna come a couple weeks early." Maybe she had a scheduled c section, but baby decided to come earlier than that?
  • Now almost 4 AM. There will be two rounds of induction-- first is a pill.
  • Around 15:50, she's chowing down on the snacks she packed. "Shoutout to me packing these snacks" (said through full mouth). She's eating beef jerky or something?
  • Flash to Alex standing up. Text onscreen reads "a couple hours later, the contractions were contracting." She's doing the signature stand and sway.
  • Now we're looking at her breakfast tray and lunch menu. I'm reminded of my personal favorite subreddit, r/hospitalfood. It looks tasty.
  • Cut. Alex is lying in bed. Yar asks her how she's feeling, and she cuts him a look (I laughed, no lie). She's at 4 cm. They'll head to L&D floor soon. She's getting an epidural.
  • Cut again. On L&D floor now and has had her epidural. Seems less stressed now that she's had it, unsurprisingly. She speaks highly of the hospital and the staff. She's been told baby will likely arrive today.
  • Text onscreen: "and a 3 hour nap later . . . it happened after 25 minutes of pushing!"
  • Around 18:35, she and Yar are alone in the room with the baby for the first time. They've been at the hospital 23 hours at this point, so things moved quickly. She gave birth at 22 hours (22 hours at the hospital, that is).
  • He's latched and nursing right now (camera cuts out above that, but you do hear him).
  • It's past 8 PM, so they're going to order some food. Neither has had much today. Reiterates that the staff has been "amazing" (I admit that I fully expected her to complain about the staff, so hats off to Alex for proving me wrong).
  • He hasn't been weighed yet at this point. Alex's guess is around 6 lbs.
  • She has some stitches and some bleeding.
  • "None of this feels real . . . we have a baby, and I think we have his name." Sounds like the final decision on the name was a last-minute thing?
  • "Everyone keeps asking us what the name is. We're almost there . . . TBD!" Sounds like the name really did wait until after he was here and sleeping in his cot.
  • You see the IV in her arm and all of that, by the way. Just mentioning that because of the crack-smoking reactors who think this is fake.
  • Now we cut to the next morning. She's in the black top that we saw her wearing in her Instagram stories. You can track when those Instagram stills were taken throughout this vlog.
  • Fan clipped to the side of the bed. It's similar to the one Chantal has been toting around Thailand.
  • Skin to skin footage with Yar. I admit that I would have been just as happy not to see him shirtless.
  • Footage of Nancy holding him. She's entranced, by the look of things.
  • At that point, it's around 4:20 PM, and he's almost a full day old. They anticipate checking out tomorrow. He doesn't appear to have gone to the NICU at all and isn't connected to monitors or anything like that (which is great, obviously).
  • Cut to the morning of discharge day. She's wearing the blue Kelly Strack copycat pajamas with the white piping.
  • They came to the hospital Sunday night, and it's now Wednesday morning. Looking at a calendar myself: that means they came the night of August 25, and it's now the morning of August 28 (if I got that right).
  • "This is my life now. I just cry and look at him." She's red-face, full-on crying. No judgment at all, just saying. "I just love him so much." Has someone been cutting onions in my living room? Don't mind me.
  • I don't actually watch any Alex reactors, but if anyone reactor tells you this isn't genuine emotion, they're wrong. They're also batshit insane if they think she didn't give birth to that baby.
  • Ended up waiting until afternoon for blood test results. Everything was fine. She shows us her hospital dinner. They're waiting to find out if they get to go home tonight. They do get to go home-- "his bilirubin is lookin' good!"
  • Reviewing her hospital bag. "I did not touch my skincare" (lol, ya think?). "I did not touch the makeup." Didn't use the burp cloths or "one of the cute outfits I had for him." "We did, in fact, eat most of our snacks" (color me shocked, or not).
  • Now filming Yar carrying him out of the hospital in his car seat.
  • Around 27:27, they're home, and Bruno is checking him out. He's calm but looks puzzled, bless him.
  • Alex must get her glasses frames from the same place as Anna O'Brien, because yikes.
  • It's 10:30 Wednesday night. They've been home a few hours. She showered, Yar is showering now, they picked up dinner. He's asleep on her chest right now, and she says he's been eating and pooping.
  • At around 28:30, she says his name is Anderson (for the first time in the vlog). Bruno is sleeping next to him in bed. She says Bruno has been gentle and curious.
  • And that's it. She did not give his middle name or his birth weight, FYI.

tl;dr: she did not have a c section. Her water broke, and she delivered vaginally at 35 weeks. Baby did not have to stay in the NICU. She's breastfeeding, and he's latching and doing fine with that. Bruno is interested and curious but gentle. Everyone is safely home. At this time, they do not plan to feature him or show his face in their content-- they say they're not going to family vlogging route, in other words.

I freely admit that I'm surprised by all of this and hope they continue to surprise me.

Bit late, but Anderson is an absolutely adorable baby. She’s incredibly lucky and I hope she raises him well without passing on her gross traits and shopping addiction, though the bar is set very low at the moment.
Do good looking babies usually turn out to be good looking kids and adults? Sometimes you see a celeb kid like Rumor Wilson that despite having great genes turns out butt ugly. Maybe it will work in opposite for this baby.
