Weekend family vlog: Wayfair Outlet, Out Fav Brunch Spot, Date Night, Love Island Finale

ETA: Very much a nothing burger yet again. Checking out Wayfair, touches everything, buys nothing as even at 50% off everything is still too expensive. Goes and looks at cars (Yar’s favourite pastime). Eats brunch, drops the kid off with Nancy and goes out to eat with Yar. Comes home, puts kid to bed, watches TV.

On the upside, Fat Alex is about to try podcasting again. In a totally non-copycat way to try to revitalise her dying channel with no effort on her part, she’s planning to answer viewer voice memos (no more than 2 minutes) on Am I The Arsehole, Secret Confessions, as well as giving advice. She’s also totally not copied another Youtube channel and is calling it Just Between Us.

I’m calling it a flop already, but we might get a few laughs before she chucks in the towel on this project, like she has on pretty much every other thing she’s tried…including being a mother to her kid.

She’s not holding him right. If you pop a baby on the hip it needs to be able to sit ON your hip and they do sometimes lean out but mainly they kind of koala onto you. She’s holding him against her hip and he’s not actually sat ON anything to be able to use his body to cling. Imagine the difference trying to hold your head up if you’re sat astride something versus just hugged to it. He doesn’t seem like he has very good strength either. How old is he now?
Babies vary hugely in the first year or so. Some don’t crawl, they just sit up one day and maybe bum shuffle a bit then get up and run around. Others crawl with terrifying speed and are late walking. Some talk early, some wait until they’re way older then start overnight in full sentences.
To actually diagnose a delay or something like cerebral palsy isn’t trivial, not in such a young child and needs a specialist.

People on that sub are constantly saying things like that. They say there's no way she can "only" be 280 lbs. Why not? 280 lbs is fucking huge for a woman. I think that sub is full of 250+ fatties who are in denial about how fat they are and don't realize that they look just like Fat Alex.

He’s around 10 and a half months now. He was due late September early October, but born 5 weeks premature. He’s been showing a big improvement in physical strength recently. He can definitely sit up by himself, and is reaching out and playing with toys. Also appears to be able hold his bottles and grab his food to eat. Still not seeing any crawling or pulling himself up on objects, but I expect that won’t be far away.

It seems day care is working for him. He appears to have progressed a lot since going. But maybe it's just coincidence. If she could stop putting him in clothes too small and not pajamas all the time, the would be wonderful too

I don’t get all the reddit and reactor hate about him being in onesies most of the time. My kids lived in them most of the time until they were about 18 months old. In summer they were sleeveless with no legs. They were easy to get on and off, easy to wash and dry, kept their knees clean when crawling etc. They weren’t even cheap back in those days. They were in and out of cots, floor time, play pens etc for most of the day anyway. Admittedly there wasn’t much in the way of cute baby/toddler boys clothes back then, so I made most of my kids going out clothing. Even now though, my nieces and nephews rely mainly on onesies for their kids until around 18 months old, unless it’s a special occasion where they’ll be on show. It just makes sense to me far more than buying outfits that require more maintenance (eg ironing or dry cleaning) when kids grow so fast at that age.

Alex does appear to buy a ridiculous amount of seasonal themed (Hallowe’en, Valentine’s Day, Christmas) clothing for him though. Not so different to the stupid shit themed clothing she buys for herself though, or the cheap tat decorations for her home. That stuff at Homemart looked like the plastic tat we could buy in Australia from a Nothing over $5 shop.

It reminds me of the Jaimie Weisberg sub where the most prolific poster (Layla someshit) is also a super morbidly obese person lmao.

And it’s funny that most of the Alex snarkers don’t really post pictures of themselves to prove they look one hundred pounds lighter than Alex….but they are VERY comfortable posting pictures of their babies, relatives’ babies, or the babies of their friends to prove Anderson is delayed.

Like lmao what. I hate Alex, but her snarkers are hilarious and infinitely more entertaining than she is. God, Alex is one of the most boring gorls bc she has nothing going on in that fat noggin of hers…but her snarkers? God damn they provide so much entertainment in their unhinged obsession, especially when they post screenshots of the comments they make on Alex’s posts.

I'm far from saying the baby is neglected, but can't help but feel sorry for him, he could take part in baby swimming classes, music classes, with all this time and the money they have. Spending this time in wallmarts, home goods and with Nancy. Don't you think this is weird Nancy has no friends, Alex has no friends, their relationship is really strange. Those vlogs are simply depressing.

I agree, Alex is a pretty boring cow but these people are something else. I don't think I would even keep tabs on her life anymore if it weren't for her hater community keeping me entertained. I love when they do occasionally post themselves and try to "prove" that there's no way Alex could be anywhere near their size. They always look pretty close to me. The people that react to her are even funnier. I don't think there's a single one that isn't a complete loser themselves. They're pretty much all obese too. They seem to think that because they're slightly less huge than Alex that they're better than her and have the right to talk shit on her weight. But don't you dare bring that up or they'll accuse you of being a stan.
