clearing things up

Just fat Alex and Nancy pulling apart a store a la fat Anna.
Someone pls explain, what does the pattern of the duvet and pillows matter so much? Do y'all not use pillow cases and duvet covers?
Sorry it took a while - busy workout day.

Potato archive:

Well done Fat Al! Instead of reacting to all the scary internet people, you should have paid attention to those (including Alan Roberts) who said they’d report you to your local police if they ever saw you vlogging while driving with bubs in the vehicle. Viewers are saying bubs isn’t even properly strapped in the car capsule, but I can’t confirm that. You’ve just guaranteed yourself a visit from the constabulary, a nice fine for distracted driving, and a CPS visit. The reactors and Jane Friels will make sure of it. You talk about all the scary whackos out in the internet, but go ahead and post video evidence that will play right into their hands, of practices they warned you they’d report you for. Guaranteed many, many reports to YouTube as well, even if they don’t do anything. What a fucking tosser.

Alex needs a new swivel glider chair. Has she already busted the under-rated one in the nursery?

Editted for clarity.

For a half second I thought you meant a busy workout day for Alex, and I wondered what parallel universe I'd wandered into.
LOL Sorry for the confusion, fren. Am busy actually triathlon training and it was a swim/ride day.

Alex works out every day, though! Mental gymnastics count for the FA community. As does consoooooomerism. In that way, she works out infintesimally more than I do.

On topic, Baby Pooper is still adorable. Fat Alex is still FAT and I wouldn't sex her. Yar is... Yar. Who needs to keep dadding it up (no disrespect here for that).

Alex dump, presented chronologically. All material is from Instagram stories (except for the shots from Amazon product listings-- because of course Amazon came up a lot in her stories).

Going to group under multiple spoilers for ease of image loading.

Alex vs reality:

Alex and Anna O'Brien are both in a lot of trouble with their claimed size and ability to wear mainstream brands when this trend for all things oversized (finally, blessedly) dies down.

Reddit is talking about how someone needs to tip off the Dad Challenge Podcast about Alex. For those not familiar, DCP is a YouTube channel that's highly critical of family vlogging and family vloggers. He's covered 8 Passengers/Ruby Franke (now in jail for truly appalling child abuse), Alica Dougherty/The Dougherty Dozen (has a thread here, FFG sometimes covers her, has various communities about her, generally iffy person), Alex Dacy (has a thread here, exploits her daughter for content, entire life is a trash fire), and others. I don't see how Alex R. is on the level-- remotely-- of any of these people, but she had a baby, and people are assmad.

My 2 cents:

I think he's an absolute douche and don't watch the guy. Your mileage may vary. I wouldn't be surprised if he did do a video or two about Alex, because he's apparently always on the lookout for new content-- even though I don't actually think Alex is doing anything at all to merit his attention right now.

My understanding of his general schtick is that he opposes family vlogging, but it often comes off more as he enjoys feigning righteous anger and profiting from people who really hate creator X. That said, he's also covered some pretty scuzzy people.

Dad Challenge Podcast
absolute douche
That guy is the fucking worst. He literally makes his living both shitting on (mostly) women and being a hypocrite. Oh, so it's terrible for these people to make money putting their kids online, but it's cool for him to make money talking about those same families himself? He's an asshat of the highest order and if he had anything remotely interesting about him he'd have his own Lolcow thread.

Catching up with Alex's grid posts (Instagram). The most interesting thing is that she's getting some pushback in comments about how she is/is not showing the baby. Some think that the emoji covering the face isn't good enough. Others think that she should be showing more of Anderson because they want to follow the whole motherhood/babyhood saga. She's gotten herself wedged (fatly) between a rock and a hard place with oversharing every second of the pregnancy and then insisting on privacy after the birth.

There's a weird glare/over-brightness on some of the photos below. That's an issue on my end, not hers. When in doubt, assume that it's supposed to be beige, not bright. This is Alex, after all.

The posts are in reverse chronological order (most recent --> oldest).

There was a post with a video of her modeling this new dress. I linked the dress info in my previous post. Nothing about it was particularly interesting, so this is all I saved:

One thing I saw come up in her comments is that the emojis covering the face can be easily removed. I see that comment over and over on her subreddit, so I assume people who comment that are coming from over there. I have no idea if that's actually true or not, but I kind of assume it is-- after all, the internet is a degenerate place.

I really don't think you can remove stickers/emojis what-have-you unless you have the raw photo with its layers available for edit.

For shits and gigs, I downloaded a couple of apps that claimed they could remove emojis from photos, but what they all actually do is use AI to fill in the area. So you can try to remove Anderson Pooper's face covers, but you get this:

Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised she's not spamming his lil face everywhere. I still wish influencer Moms wouldn't exploit their kids for clicks, but if it must be done, face-covering the kid is the very least you can do.

If I'm totally wrong and dumb about the removal of stickers/emojis, I'd love to know.

Edit to add: that pumpkin pillow is legitimately the ugliest piece of trash I've ever seen her purchase, and that's a high bar.

I think mother-to-be should be updated in the title, i honestly thought she was faking her pregnancy until i checked here recently.

Does she take Bruno to a groomer? Doodle dogs get bad mats in their fur if they're not properly groomed, which can cause a lot of pain and suffering.

Luckily for them, oversized will never disappear. People are so used to the comfort of oversized for lounging around. Even if the fashion industry tries to cancel oversized, those of us that are thin enough to be able to size up 2-3 sizes, will laugh at the fatties whining about thin folks buying all the clothes meant for them. Of course deathfats won’t have the sizing up options.

Yes she does, and quite often. When she talks about taking him it sounds like it’s a regular scheduled appointment. She’s even shown a couple of times, her washing Bruno (after beach visits), but he’s usually taken to the groomer for his baths.

Potato Archive (have finally concluded screeching like a nimrod that Fall doesn't start until SEPTEMBER 22 AUTISTIC REEEEEEEEEE)
In the US sure. In many countries though the seasons change on the first of the month. Here Autumn/Fall starts on March 1st, Spring started on September 1st.

I really don’t get the US focus on decorating for the seasons outside of Christmas. It is really as big of a thing as the vloggers make it, or is it mainly for Instagram worthy content? My garden and trees do my seasonal decorating.

The only people who do this are "influencers" and rich people. Halloween gets outside decorations, Christmas gets inside and out. Usually in big families, the host house for dinner will have stuff as well. But not to these extremes.
I barely see outside decorations anymore.

Good on her, honestly. That's more responsibility than most dog owners seem to have online.
