Ali Alexander, born Ali Akbar, is the highest profile black (and arab) conservative member of the catboy covenant, and one of the most prolifically criminal. He is a well-connected right wing influencer who manages to continue operating in political circles despite his well-documented history of scams, disregard for the law, and pedophilia.

Theft​

Ali was arrested in November 2006 for stealing "Five MP3 Players, Twenty CDs, Three Camcorders, Two DVD Players, One Back Massager, One Clock, Four Shirts, Two Belts, and a Piece of Luggage from a woman's home. Just one month later, in December 2006, he was arrested again, this time for breaking into someone's car, stealing his debit card and spending $400. For this he was given 4 years probation which expired in 2012.

In the meantime, he turned away from theft and to scams within conservative politics.

McCain campaign / voter fraud​

Ali served on the McCain campaign in 2008 despite his recent criminal history. He was a "e-campaign coordinator" and a "Bloggers for McCain" author. He was reprimanded by the campaign after a controversy where he was openly discussing strategies to rig votes for McCain.

I sat in on a meeting in my downtown Dallas office and heard an e-campaign staffer with the John McCain campaign – Ali A. Akbar – openly discuss ways to manipulate, rig and otherwise “take” an election. (source)

Tea Party / National Bloggers Club​

Ali gained most of his political connections coming up as a conservative blogger and organizer in the Tea Party era. He threw an annual "Blogger's Bash" at CPAC, and he used the influence that gave him as leverage. Eventually he started the National Bloggers Club purportedly to raise money to fund independent conservative blogging projects. This is how he described the National Bloggers Club and his passion for blogging:

I run a start-up non-profit. It’s a side project of mine. The National Bloggers Club is my way of giving back. I put in my money, my time and professional network to work at giving back to bloggers. Why? I don’t think there are a group of people more advancing the cause for freedom. I truly believe that. It helps that I have hundreds of friends who are bloggers. He fundraised advertising the NBC as a non-profit and did gain decent influence and fairly large GOP donations, before being exposed for never actually registering the NBC as a non-profit. He forfeited the NBC and other companies through delinquency. The NBC also fundraised for an "Andrew Breitbart Scholarship Fund", fraudulently using Breitbart's name for something he had no involvement in.

#StopTheSteal / January 6​

He claims he personally defeated Kamala Harris in the primary because he made a viral tweet saying that she wasn't black, retweeted by Donald Trump Jr.

Despite apparently not supporting Trump at first, Ali's biggest stunt so far was the #StopTheSteal movement to support contesting the 2020 election results. It seems he again did not actually create a business or non profit, yet solicited donations for this movement. James Allsup documented in November 2020 that the donations page on the site went to Ali's personal donation links. He claims personal responsibility for getting Trump to delay conceding the election. Prior to January 6 he suggested Stop The Steal may require extreme measures:

“One of our organizers in one state said, ‘We’re nice patriots, we don’t throw bricks.’ I leaned over and I said, ‘Not yet. Not yet!’ Haven’t you read about a little tar-and-feathering? Those were second-degree burns!” Alexander said at a rally in December. “We’re going to convince them to not certify the vote on January 6 by marching hundreds of thousands, if not millions of patriots, to sit their butts in D.C. and close that city down, right? And if we have to explore options after that... ‘yet.’ Yet!”
“We will not go quietly. We’ll shut down this country if we have to,” he also said, later leading them in a chant of “1776.”

On January 6, Ali led a Stop the Steal protest at the capital along with Nick Fuentes and Alex Jones.
