Eh, it depends on how big a shit people make over it. After all, everything is about the bottom line. If a significant number of people threaten to, for example, boycott Nintendo, they might give a shit.

Ideally, though, it shouldn't matter how many people make a stink about this. If your PR person is being exceptionally stupid in public, they're not doing their job correctly, and they need to be fired.

People can rightfully call me optimistic but it could be that she is letting the heat die down and doesn't want to completely trigger the streisand effect. The more she goes on the deleting spree the more attention that will be drawn to it because it shows that she has something to hide. Someone in PR has to know something about public relations, but on the other hand if she was smart she would know that talking anything even remotely positive about cheese pizza is a very bad idea. She seems to be taking the route of owning up to it but muddying up the issue to make it seem more innocuous than it really is. Can't amaze people with brilliance; then baffle them with bullshit.
