I don't want to deal with ads, does the BAT generation go through if you block it by a third party plugin?

I've had weird issues with Brave rewards. When I first set it up, I was constantly getting ads for about a month and a half. Then one day they just stopped, and I've seen maybe 1-2 ads since then (about a year). I've contacted Brave about it and they said ads don't always play in some areas due to population and other factors, but I don't think that applies to me because I live in an extremely dense area. I also speculate that the Uphold wallet that functions with Brave doesn't do business in my state because I'm 1 of 2 states that has local crypto laws that prevent most exchanges from legally doing business with us. I'll set it up to auto donate, but don't hold your breath because I haven't seen an ad in a very very long time.

There have been times when the moblie browser crapped out on me, not sure if it is because my phone is old as shit but the thing doesn't feel as stable as the desktop browser

@Null Usually I am very against learning anything new/changing my habits but it took me all of 3 minutes to install and set up, and its honestly a decent browser. Also, if it means that I can be a small part of telling Greer and Melinda to fuck off and die then I am in.

I've been using Brave for about 5 years now and it's been pretty great. However, the Brave search engine is new. and I've got to say it's surprisingly competent (at least compared to FuckFuckNo).

Brave natively lets you turn off BAT generating advertisements- you just turn off Brave ads and stop getting BAT. Anything else is fraudulent
