All I want for Christmas is for you to use Brave

I'm not going to install Brave, because I don't use a mobile browser and I already have a superior setup on my desktop (that being said, in my limited experience the Brave browser on mobile works great).

I do however sympathize with @Null after reading the OP, and will look for a way to alternatively support the site (my original attempt was thwarted by my trusted BTC dealer suddenly requiring real life ID, but I recognize the man goes through a lot more on the daily and will try to find a workaround).

Godspeed, and thank you for all your effort, no matter how unthankful the work might feel in the moment. You are not ostracized by us

Try as I might, I cannot get fucking ads in Brave to show up on windows 7, I've done just about everything I can to troubleshoot it but it just doesn't seem to want to work. Thankfully I have it installed on my phone and that seems to work just fine, albeit at a much slower rate since I only use my phone to browse sparingly. Anyone else run into a similar issue?

Tactical shitcoin drop incoming, Josh. Enjoy the BAT. Also, can I say thank you for telling me about Brave? I got in super early because of you, and managed to save up a few thousand BAT in my time using it before it went up to a dollar a coin? Because of it, I was able to actually afford the life saving surgery on my dog a few months ago, so the least I can do is send you some BAT as well for keeping my favorite agricultural forum up.

Would be cool to get a rundown of how successful/helpful this turns out to be, since it seems heaps of people are going along with it and sharing their BAT with the farms. Maybe an update on the next MATI?

Before I even consider setting up BAT, are there any privacy stuff I should be concerned about if I switch to Brave?

I've been using Brave for months already, my new year's resolution is to try and switch entirely from Chrome to Brave. Would've done it entirely earlier if I wasn't so lazy
As a filthy Chrome user myself I'm pleasantly surprised at how easy migration was. It almost comes across as a little desperate. "I'll migrate your bookmarks, your saved passwords, your search history, I'll migrate anything bro please it's not chrome bro it's a different strain."

Maybe another idea is make an opt in crypo miner that runs in the browser like those dodgy sites used to run. Only instead of doing it on the sly in some invisible iFrame, be actually opaque about it and allow it to be turned off.

Just have like a "Donate by mining for me" button to click.

This would also allow people like me in countries where Brave doesnt have that BAT for using Brave running yet, to contribute.

Might be late to this, but a quick rundown post would be helpful, brave themselves couldn't coherently describe how this works, and now that I have it set up, I regularly have to clean leeches like wikipedia/google/youtube out of my auto contribute list, since I can't seem to just whitelist the farms only.
I could be wrong but from what I can gather, tips can't overdraw your balance (EDIT: This is misleading, they won't send the payment until you actually accumulate the amount of BAT you set as the tip) so I just turned autocontribute off and maxed my tip to the farms. I'll tell you next month if I have Brendan Eich threatening to break my kneecaps.

If you want to support multiple people you could just set small tips to each of them and manually one time tip if you have any leftover.

will never use brave, will instead continue to send crypto as regularly as possible.

I feel better sending direct, as I know they can't fuck with it that way.
