Chris changing his name from Christopher to Christian ---> Chris abandoning his faith in God in favour of becoming God.
St. Christopher bore the infant Christ on his back, but Chris decided his namesake was too meek of a legacy to live up to, and decided to become Christ(ian), Himself.
Also strange how Josh's avi is a dog, and St. Christopher is commonly depicted as having the head of a dog. Even more of a coincidence that Josh happened to be the one carrying Chris' finances and shielding him from the trolls all these years.
