What has it got her? It’s like Brianna Wu with Gamergate. Sure, it put her in the public eye, but the question eventually arises: “So what now?” She’s not working for these people any more, so what does she do, free from their evil influence? It’s pretty clear from the quality of her videos that without CA, she’d be bumping along in the low thousands of subscribers.

I like to compare her to PushingUpRoses, another former CA collaborator who was involved in Change the Channel. Roses barely even mentions CA on her channel, if at all, and just concentrates on making her own videos and forging her own identity. Result: she has four times the subscribers that Allison does.

Roses also came off as more humble and not with an ego like most of the complainers. She seemed like a person who just enjoyed talking about nerd stuff.

#ChangeTheChannel is her big claim to fame aside from being Phelous' Girlfriend/Wife. She has to keep up the narrative that CA was a terrible awful no good company and that she just told the truth about them otherwise her e-career could be finished. At that point, she's screwed as she put all her eggs on being a content creator ever since the Blip days meaning she hasn't had a regular job in over a decade. That's why the midrolls complaint is significant because she said she put those extra midrolls in her videos in order to pay the bills as making videos was and still is her job. Her patreon has stagnated and has been slowly declining for a while so if enough people know she lied in the document in order to destroy CA then she could lose a lot of patrons thus her livelihood

You sure about that? Have you checked her Twitter account where she does a lot of selfies as well as having Twitter meltdowns over Youtube comments? That and complaining about monetization and companies claiming the ad revenue on her videos talking about movies and shows.

I think part of the reason she stayed strong is because she didn't get involved in the drama. Apparently she used to get a lot of shit from Spoony and Michaud, and despite living in Chicago she was never invited to Suburban Knights or To Boldly Flee. But unlike the others, she never complained about it, she just did a final video leaving CA, went over to YT, and just kept putting out content. Now she's the second most successful channel behind Lindsay, despite never getting any promotion compared to Allison or Kaylyn, who were pushed hard and yet never could retain an audience.

Haven't checked in ages because she was boring. I stopped paying attention since she left TGWTG for health reasons.

Roses videos are just better made, period. She knows her niche and sticks with it. Allison keeps bouncing around to fandoms she knows nothing about and is not welcome in trying to get a hit video. And when she does get one that get above average views she just shrugs and makes something different. What is the point of throwing things at the wall to see what sticks then not going with what ends up sticking??

She has stuck with making videos based on Star Trek episodes after that one turned out successful. She did try to capitalize on the success of the Modelland video by doing one on the Theodore Rex book. However that video had nowhere near the same amount success as the Modelland video and the Rex video is only memorable because it seems like she is drunk in that video. It just seems like Allison wants to make low effort videos that she can shit out quickly hence why she does a lot of videos talking about individual TV episodes of Baywatch, Star Trek, and Charmed. She is then able to get a lot of money from her patrons as a result of her Patreon being per video instead of per month.

The constant use of added sound effects (as well as Allison's annoying vocalized sound effects) doesn't help either. How desperate can you get.

That was one of the worst jokes I ever heard in my entire life. What a boring, dime-a-dozen attempt at such a low-brow joke. It's like a five year old wrote her script. And it doesn't help that she giggles and laughs like a two year old at every joke she attempts. PRO-TIP: If you feel the need to laugh at your own jokes, they aren't funny.

If Allison wants to make people laugh, she should just post her tweets where she whines about CA. At the very fucking least I'd get a chuckle out of it.

There's a reason people only talk about Allison when drama pops up. Her videos are just not that good. They're better than the ones done by Marzgurl or Filmbrain considering Allison does have a bit of charisma when the videos are scripted like Baywatching. It's only when it's not scripted like her show Movie Nights that she becomes really boring to watch. Allison got carried by Brad and Phelous to get to the level of success she has and even that much is not a lot.
