The only nice thing I've heard anyone say about younger Lupa in person back then was that she's an average tomboy but at least she's a genuine geek. Over 30 and the chance of having a kid with some sort of syndrome increases. And, as stated, Phelan is on the spectrum so it's not a good idea for them to reproduce.
