It's not really. She used to look somewhat normal both in and out of her videos back when she had red hair. This trend of trying to look like some kind of carny from a horror movie really picked up after Change the Channel flopped, although there may have been signs of it even before then. From what I can tell it doesn't relate to her videos at all. Back in the day she would dress up occasionally, but in ways that related to whatever she was watching at the time, like a lot of reviewers do. Now she wears heavy clown makeup regardless of the situation.

From what I’m aware of this softlavender person was the one of many YouTube channels to cover almost all the CTC drama. However her videos came off more as opinion based rather than factual, I also remember her doing a few live streams on the matter. Unfortunately I have not kept up with her content in the last year or two because she’s kinda repetitive and boring. The last time I checked up on her there was a video titled “a year later” and her personal thoughts on the CTC drama, in that one she mentioned the aftermath of how Brad and his family had their lives change during the drama. This is when I found out how Brad had to relocate his family because of his personal information being shared around on social media. I’ll try to link some videos if they are still up and once I figure out how to do it properly.
