This is basically the inverse of when Hilary named the alt-right and declared Pepe a white supremacist symbol.

Honestly, Alt-Right is embraced as a term because both they and more mainstream right-wingers both want to indicate the distinction in philosophy and practice. There may be some overlap, but each group looks at the other and says "you're just too far over thataway for my liking; we don't speak for each other."

The left is getting bent out of shape because someone coined a similar term to distinguish between mainstream left-wingers and radical, violent types like ANTIFA. What should we take away from this?
 
Sean Hannity used the term since Trump won. You would think they know after trying to get him fired over Seth Rich. The Alt-Left are attention whoring stereotypical millennials.

That the alt-right self-identifies as alt-right, because they decided to call themselves the alt-right. They wanted to be clear that they were conservative, but not neoconservative or Christian conservative. The left has ANTIFA, anarcho-communists, and "dirtbag left" and some other terms.

This is fairly weak salt.

The *entire left* is the alt-left. Including, somehow, USAToday.
 
I am not against the two terms bein made official because frankly, America is blessed to not have experienced neither fascism nor communism, and those who call themselves communists and fascists don't really know what they're talking about

And they never experienced how third world countries perceive either. Philippines has crazy ideas they never separate socialism or communism, and they have reservations towards liberal ideas, well since they're Catholic, and have their own terrorists whether they be Islamic or Communist.

I love the generalized reaction from journos who watched the press conference, not specific to alt-left. I still honestly think that press conference was the most effective savagery I've seen from Trump.
