It was nice to see a bit of blood/gore in the trailer, which clearly indicates they aren't going to pussy out on that stuff. The color scheme seems...off? Kind of like Fallout 4. It's almost unsettling, but the blood splatter on that blue metal was kinda nice.

Also having a yaoguai chomping down on a BoS soldier is fucking sweet.

I love Fallout, so yeah I know I'm biased. I knew a live action TV show would likely be shit, but still decided to watch the trailer with an open mind. It looks way worse than what I was expecting. If the trailer looks this bad, I can't imagine how the actual show will be. Everything looks bland, the actors have stilted dialog, CGI looks like shit, and if that "joke" was the best they could show for the trailer, then no doubt the rest of the humor is gonna be cringe for sure.

What I don't understand is why the outfits look bad. I've seen SO MANY good cosplay costumes, and most of those are from people with limited budgets and resources. Yet this high dollar professional company somehow makes the costumes look... costume-y. It doesn't look like something people would actually wear in this world, and the color looks weird.

I guess there's always hope the trailer is trash and somehow the show itself is good, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Unless it comes out and kiwis say it's worth watching, I will be giving this a hard pass.

What is funny is that Pete Hines stated that he wants Fallout to be more like The Last of Us. This shows that Bethesda has never understood Fallout. This show also looks like it is going to take a massive dump on the OG Fallouts and New Vegas as Bethesda doesn't want the series to be a post-post apocalypse setting where society is rebuilding but a ruined wasteland like The Last of Us. Just wait, as Bethesda stated that this series is going to be canon and takes place 4 years after Fallout 4, they will have it be that the NCR collapsed and everything became a untamed wasteland again. Oh, and the Legion will play a role too just so our "stronk girl boss" protagonist can stick it to the patriarchy and we can have our "men are bad" message. Oh and the Legion will just be made up of white men. Because only white men would be apart of the evil faction.

This aged like milk. :story: The ego on the Bethesda devs. Doesn't surprise me that they would be the type of people whose egos are so massive that they go to every negative review of Starslop on Steam and go "No! You're wrong!" Our game is a masterpiece! You're just playing it wrong!" This show is going to be a massive dumpster fire and hopefully the final nail in the coffin in regards to Bethesda's reputation and it is going to be glorious.
