And their White CEOs and board members. But wait....the real brains behind Vault-Tec and the inventors of everything are still women and niggers. So only the bad parts of Vault-Tec came from Whites. The good parts like the technology or Vault Boy came from people of color.

Vault-Tec's capitalist practices lead to the Great War. This is already reflected in every Fallout wiki currently.

I watched the first episode. The bug eyed chick felt like a complete Mary Sue. I have no interest in a nigger lecturing the Brotherhood about equality. Walter Goggins is good but not enough to save this show. I might sporadically watch it when I have free time, but in the meantime I went back to my OG Magnum PI rewatch. That's how little this show impressed me.

Disagree me if you want but I think a factor that brought us here was the acceptance of the live action adaptation of The Last of Us.

The adaptation was plenty popular with normies, gamers that haven't touched the original or gamers that think Part 2 is a deep autist- I mean, artistic masterpiece. It was difficult to find someone that hated both games or at least the second one that enjoyed this. My point is that they smelled blood in the water so they went for a somewhat similar approach, where all you need to do is keep things just faithful enough to trick normies because you have already accepted that fans take way too much effort to please.

It's not the early 2000s anymore where most normies haven't played video games and even look down on those that do. Nowadays, it's hard to find a normie who isn't at least familiar with video games and adaptations are changing in accordance to this.

While most early adaptations failed because they either didn't try adapting the source material at all or they did but lacked the way to make ir cohesive in a movie format, the modern ones figured out that you gotta keep things just familiar enough so normies who played only one entry or two will be satisfied.

So all you niggas that were OK with the garbage that was the live action The Last of Us, including the Brockback mountain with zombies episode, congratulations! This series is partially your fault.

It was done to insert yourself in him and because, at least I think this was the intention later on, M.C's face became his mask and voice and thus anything underneath that mask will never be his "true face". Doesnt help that the plot was legit garbage EVEN to normies, while TLoU and Fallout series had enough effort to satisfy normies who really are just looking to shut their brains off and clap at the keys jiggling.

Its not really post-apocalyptic fiction in the genre sense. Nations develop, cultures develop and thrive, civilization is reborn. Thats the uniqueness of Fallout. There are no countries or civilizations in Mad Max that are actually defendable or that have any kind of virtue. The lore made more sense before Bethesda came in and raped the series to the point its unrecognizable from the original games. Ill grant you there was a lot of autistic shit and pop culture references in 2 that piss me off to this day, but that doesnt detract from the story itself or the uniqueness of the narrative it was going for. Post apocalyptic fiction as a genre is so incredibly stagnant, and rooted in nihilism and despair to the point that that its the only kind of story a writer can contemplate when trying to create this type of fiction. Fallout isn't high art, and it isnt super deep but thats a point against Bethesda and the writers of this show. They don't even understand the first game and the groundwork it laid out for the rest of the series.

I don’t know man, I respect that you feel this way about the series but IMO you’re seeing things in Fallout that aren’t really there. It’s just post-apocalypse crossed with wacky retro-futurism. “War Never Changes” is not as deep a sentiment as people think it is and it’s almost never an actual theme of any of the games.

The problems with Fallout the show have much more to do with basic inability to tell a coherent story in the medium of television than they do with whatever themes or consistent lore actually exist in the video game series.

1. Fisheyes wanders off in a random direction and meets Scienceman just as she is about to be eaten by radroaches in her sleep.

2. On his road to Filli, Scienceman (that we know has some outdoorsman experience due to previous encounter) stops at a random spot to rest: near a giant, very noticeable cave with barrels of radioactive waste outside; the place happens to be the nest of one of the most dangerous creature of the Wasteland, one of the select few that actually poses a threat to Power Armor; this nightmarishly powerful superpredator, disturbed, does not chase and devour the old, exhausted, defenseless scientist, but scares him to flee immediately, abandoning his coat and dog chow.

3. Above the endless expanse of indistinct forested Wasteland, DumbKnight demands to drop off the Vertibird in a random spot for a reason so stupid that it transcends niggerdom; wanders randomly in the thick woods and JUST happens to find the place where Scienceman abandoned his coat; here the GIANT MUTATED BEAR rolls a natural 20 in sneak and ambushes the dumb cunt killing him, only to be one shot by a 10mm round to the head by SimpatheticNog.

4. Fisheyes just happens to ask directions to ShopLady that was the actual contact of RaiderLady in town; JUST as she leaves scorned, Scienceman she previously met happens to enter the very same shop! RaiderLady happened promise him refuge, and he is to be delivered to her by ShopLady! Right here! Right now!

5. JUST as BasedGog is about to ventilate Fisheyes, PowerNog arrives! Wow! Out of nothing! In this exact place! Last fraction of a second he throws his tons-armored self on mlady to shield her from the gyro round that would have splattered her! Thank you SuperNog! You sure saved the day!

People are praising the production value, but it’s very inconsistent. The first two episodes are front loaded, but it’s more visible as it goes on. The show seems like it wanted to use the Western theme of New Vegas to try to do a Mandolorian-feel and that’s why the Gay Ghoul Cowboy is there. He’s more or less there to do what the Mandalorian did with having a traditional Western badass of dubious morality. It falls flat when you watch the scenes with him and how retarded they are.

I think worse of it because the inconsistent production value isn’t hidden well. I don’t care if the power armor scenes look great if everything else looks like an early 2000’s sci-fi channel production outside of the Vaults.

Also, I don’t understand the appeal of Goggins. I never cared for The Shield and Justified seemed like it was for fags. He seems to work with a pedophile casting director a lot.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but that sounds like sub-Picard-tier. Picard at least tied up its arcs by the end. They were tied up terribly and the stories sucked (except for the mildly passable third season), but by god they were concluded.

I watched the first episode last night and my first thought is that they'd hired all the writers for nu trek for this project. God awful dialog and story. I'm beyond over the Hollywood current crop of nepo baby writers that think stuff like fucking your cousin is hilarious and relatable content. What the fuck is wrong with them? I enjoyed it, gotta remember this is video game adaption from the forges of Amalekzon not high art and by that standard there's a solid 6/10.
They captured the vaultardation perfectly IMO, the NCR/surface stuff handling was garbage though but fuck new California anyway and I can also never forgive non-hairless ghouls the fuckers making this clearly have no respect for the source material.
Managing to slip in a non cringe "war never changes" without hiring Ron deserves praise however.
Hopefully get some real Brotherhood focus in the future since they're the real protagonists since the nuke ending is canon now.
