probably wont happen until the midpoint of season 3, give or take an episode
Oh right, they have to goad Battle Beast into starting a riot first right? Couldn't resist sneaking a peek at what's coming.

EDIT:
New interview with Kirkman teasing Season 3.

Invincible creator Robert Kirkman and co-showrunner Simon Racioppa are already looking ahead to the third season of the Prime Video superhero series – and it sounds like they’re seriously upping the stakes.

"I could not be more excited for season three," Kirkman said on the bonus 'Inside Episode 8 segment from Invincible season 2 on Amazon’s streaming service. "I’m all about season three."

Kirkman hints that Invincible is going to grow out the show and push it "even further."

"I think that there’s so many pieces that have been put in place in season two that we’re going to build on in season three and so many different ways that we’re going to expand the show and push the show even further," Kirkman said.

Co-showrunner Simon Racioppa added: “"You’ve got some new cast members, new stories. We go [to] some crazy places. But we pick up everything that we left hanging in season two. All the emotional stories that you liked in season one and season two are continuing."

Not only that, but Kirkman – the co-creator of the original comic series – teased the sheer scope of next season.

"We want every [season three] episode to feel like it’s a finale. Season three is an absolutely huge season with so many crazy things that you won’t expect. And where we leave things at the end of season three… Oh my god, I cannot wait for people to see that stuff," Kirkman said.

Didn't realize the second half had come out so finally watched it.

These niggers spend 3 years to make 8 episodes and then spend 10 minutes on a gag about how hard making an animated show is? Good shit. More melodrama, more fakeout deaths, more Amber, more gay roommate, more setup for plot points that won't get resolved for another 4 years, more Donald, and a fuckload of Debbie. Pretty much exactly what I expected. Animation lets you make literally anything that you can think of and the best they can come up with is making a CW show?

Forgot that Angstrom Levy existed until he showed up in the finale and then he gets punched to death just so we can spend the last 20 minutes of the season watching Mark fly around while sad music plays.

Just read the comic at this point. Really, that's what most people did after nearly three fucking years. Some comic narrating tuber has a million view video on the finale issue of Invincible. They had their chance and they fucked it up. I'm just watching at this point to see my favorite scenes animated and see what they do differently.

Following the release of Season 1, over here we started getting an omnibus edition of Invincible, starting November 2021, released every 2 months, for a total of 9 volumes (8 volumes of the main story and the 9th one including the Atom Eve and Rexsplode origin stories).

I was done collecting it all by April 2023, read it all, and the show had only recently got that teaser with Mark and Allen at the diner.

I also love Brit. I got the three issues of his mini-series and he's an awesome character.

@Right To Bear Blarms If you don't feel like spending money though, enjoy.

Be nice to Bobby Hill, he's going through some stuff.
he's actually one of the few good changes that i really like

Characters who have seemingly died, but then come back to life:

Immortal
Allen
Donald
Shrinking Rae
Rex
Kate
Steve Harvey the Viltrumite

Probably missing a couple but it's like one every other episode at least. How bad at his job is Donald, anyway?

season 2 was the setup for the real hype shit in the next season.
ah ahahahaha

I hope they spend another four episodes on Mark and Amber breaking up, then have a midseason break for two years

The first season fake killed its villains from what I remember. The robot villain with the microchip or the doc seismic character had faked deaths. Also if Levy comes back again that will be another fake death. "No one's ever really gone".

Change that if to when, Levy is coming back since in the comics he also "dies" here

Kirkman wants a season 3 so they can do the rape episode to live out his weird rape fantasies.
