I kinda wish that now and again, they would throw some power in which it becomes more of a battle of wits rather than raw strength, each fight just feels like a stamina contest, like Viltrimites are supposed to be the smartest race, right? So why don't they have any actual tactics or fight coordination when they capture one of their own? Literally 10% of their population was wiped out trying to capture and execute a guy, I feel like a little more coordination could have helped out.
>super intelligent race that lives for thousands of years, ostensibly technology was used to make them as powerful as they are
>executions performed by two niggas beating another nigga to death because they somehow have not developed anything that can kill a viltrumite.

> The Most Powerful race in the known Universe that has accelerated its Evolution
>Only Unlocks punching harder than the strongest Human
>Can't develop any Cloning or IVF technology

I understand that the show is supposed to be Dragon Ball Z light, but they can at least make one opponent that requires more than punching harder to beat them. Even in Gohan v Perfect Cell, it at least required the Z warriors had to jump Cell long enough for Gohan to beat him. I do enjoy the show, but I feel like that's why so many people dipped after the second season.

To be fair, that last exchange between Gohan, the Z-Fighters and Cell is almost entirely filler.
The only one that actually happened in the manga was Vegeta, which is why when the others start blasting Cell, Cell just fucking blasts them away with absolute ease.
Still better than Invincible, where everyone is just dealt with by punching each other.
I'd argue that Tech Jacket is better, but then there's the cuckoldry open relationship stuff that Kirkman forced into it.

That, and it showed that in DBZ, humanity can clone Saiyans, since Cell is basically a clone almagam of Saiyans, Namekians, and Freeza's people.

They can clone Viltrumites too.
They just
never do.
Robot could've had the Maulers clone Marks body, but just didn't, because his legal loli crush seemed to be attracted to Rex.

No cap if the game was about 3d fly-fights and environmental destruction (think DBZ fighting game meets EDF) it would legit be a good game and it would make sense yo have only fighting bricks there. But it looks like a generic fighting game...

What bothers me is that viltrimites have 10k years of science and super bodies and all they do is... Fly and punch? Imagine if humans tried to invade a planet by sending in 100 unarmed guys.

They could have creative weapons: a megaton cannon only viltrimites can lift, super-dense armor, even strapping a nuke to their chest and detonating it point-blank seems like a viable option... We see foes like technojacket and the lone ranger have super powerful tech... A viltrimite could master all the sciences in 100 years and then McGuiver a nuclear device out of scraps. Fuck, even twisting a plane with bare hands into a Megablade sounds creative...
You'd think an Invincible game would be ALL about flying around considering that's the only other superpower they KINDA consistently do justice.

Now that I think about it, if they just used the Mauler Twins cloning technology, they could've just had like
an army of Invincible clones.
Or Atom Eve clones.
Or Immortal Clones.
Kinda fucking silly that nothing is ever really done with actual cloning technology, especially when the Viltrumites are about to fuck up Earth.

It's weird that Cecil never goes "Alright, there's a bomb in your heads, you work for us now." considering that's more or less exactly what he did with Sinclair who had WAY less revolutionary technology.

"Oh yeah Mark, by the way, I took the liberty of making 300 clones of you and transferring Donalds mind into every single one of them, fuck you, kiddo."

I guess it has something to do with their weird customs involving their executions, but you'd think they'd figure out their one weakness that they probably had since they were able to fly, and wear some earphones or earplugs or something.

You mean to tell me nobody ever discovered their weakness to sound? In the 1000s of years they fought wars? They engineered a virus able to kill all of them, but nobody made the right sound frequency to take them out easily?

They don't even need cloning technology to repopulate. The true lesson of Invincible is: have sex with human women, even if they are a different race.

I'm not talking about the Viltrumites using cloning here.
I'm saying that if Cecil had a functioning frontal lobe, he would've just hired the Maulers, used their cloning tech, and flash grown like 10 dozen Omni-Men (with the DNA they have of him, we know it's possible because Mark had another Mark grown in an alternate world)
Then it's just a matter of copying over the brain patterns of somebody Cecil knows will be loyal and that's it. Every single threat in the series gets blended and Cecil wins.
Instead Cecil used the fodder zombies.

Well yeah there is that.

He probably should have come up with something before Omni-Man did all those murders... GDA kinda slacked on the contingency plans.
