Once upon a time, Hamber had a single thread. It became a shit show and, IIRC was shut down for a bit. When it was re-opened the gods from on high determined that she was LITERALLY a big enough cow that she could provide enough m.ilk to warrant multi-threads. as i understand it, what is now the beauty parlor used to just be a containment board for AL, the AL subforum split off when she continued to get a consistently massive hate following.
