Abuse does weird things to people. A huge portion of victims never report.

Kasey was too afraid/ashamed to even talk about it with her friends. They'd see the bruises when she came to school. I might be remembering this wrong (@666EVE666 halp) but I think Kasey was too afraid to even tell her own mother until it was all over and Amberlynn was gone to Virginia.

You're correct. His friends saw the bruises and would ask, "Amber again?" (Also, for anyone new or unfamiliar with Kasey, he is FtM trans and didn't transition while with AL.) That was Kasey's first "serious" relationship. He hid the scratches and bruises from his mom because he didn't want her to to be upset because "she had other things to worry about." I'm going to guess that Kasey didn't have any healthy relationship models while growing up. That can have a major impact on kids and teenagers and their own relationships, even if they can look at someone else in an abusive relationship and say, "Hey, that's wrong!" Here's the video Kasey made after AL falsely accused him of rape:


AL is a manipulator, a parasite, and a predator. Someone reading this may laugh at that, wondering how anyone could fall for Fat ALbert's bullshit because she's such an obvious bitch. But AL has targeted girls who are either slow, have super low self esteem, come from a broken home, or a combination of those things. That's how she's managed to keep a roof over her head. AL's goal has never been a viable relationship. Her goal has always been to have a caregiver who doesn't look as pretty as she thinks she looks, who is easily guilted, who will drop everything to satisfy her immediately, and who can be silenced.

I think being able to stay unemployed while Amber pays the bills is a higher priority for Becky than being able to talk about Amber being dead. Becky enables her because that keeps the crayons and tshirts and snapbacks rolling in.

But, Amber has said she'd marry Becky if she asked her. Becky should call her bluff. They don't need to have a wedding, all they need is a marriage license and someone to officiate it. They could be married for less than $200 if you add in the cost for some cheap wedding bands.

I remember when Becky proposed to Amber in a video and Amber said no and laughed at her. Then, they claimed it was a joke. (A non-funny one, as usual.) I think it was a big joke to Amber, and Becky played along to save face. Because of that, good luck getting Becky to do it again, Amber.

In the US you can't say that someone is "probably" dodging taxes though. You not only have to provide a ridiculous amount of personal information about yourself and the person you're accusing, you have to sign under penalty of perjury that what you're alleging is true.

society, at least in america the great, also takes abuse from women far less seriously than abuse coming from men. There are some cases where victims have come forward and basically been laughed at because "how would a woman abuse you?". this is true for woman on woman abuse and woman on male abuse.

It is also important to remember how young Kasey was during all of this too. They got together when she was a sophomore in high school, while Amber would've graduated 2 years prior. Not only did she have statutory power over Kasey, she also is a master manipulator. It's hard for any abuse victim to get help, let alone a child being abused by someone in their household. I'm glad Kasey was able to call Al out on her bullshit after the fact.
