I think food has always been a source of comfort and enjoyment for her, but if she was hypothetically "diddled" that wouldn't be a total shock. A lot of sexual abuse survivors will say that on some subconscious level, gaining weight is a mechanism for making yourself less sexually desirable to people they may otherwise prey on them. If you look at Amber's relationships, they've all been with women that are pretty meek, intellectually stunted and easily controllable (with the exception of Destiny, who had something resembling a backbone, but was otherwise harmless). She doesn't feel "Safe" unless she has 100% control.
She's also briefly talked about wetting the bed during a trial period where she was reunited with her meth head parents. That's not a normal behavior for a pre-teen, but it can be indicative of abuse.
I think the truth of her life scares her a lot more than she lets on. And her pathological need to lie about everything, to everyone, including HERSELF, is more a strategy of avoidance. Denial has served her really well, in a psychological sense, because it's shielded her from reality. It's also destroyed her body, and basically signed her death warrant at this point.

I have to disagree. This is one area of her life--if true--that she probably would not exploit because of how deeply shameful she may feel about it. And if it was a repressed memory she's buried because it's too painful to face, we can clearly see how it's "expressed itself in other ways." She's over 600 lbs.I don't think Amber was diddled. If she was, she'd tard cum it for all it's worth and if it was a repressed memory, then it'd be expressed in other ways. Also every sexual abuse survivor I've met has issues with sleeping next to other people, sometimes to the point of panic attacks. Not all survivors are the same though, but I still really doubt Amber was abused sexually, especially since she lied about Casey (sp?).
