If she wanted to move to somewhere cheaper she could have already done so. Parts of New York (like the Bronx) can be pretty cheap, and I think even Mayor Giuliani(sp?) had even mandated that there should be some apartments set aside that should be priced for regular income people, as he recognized that New York City pricing was now pushing out everyone but the rich.
But if she moves to Kentucky, she risks a lower income too because unlike New York, they don't pay people that much in comparison. She'd have lower expenses, but also less opportunities and no close family.
She'd also have to deal with a controlling narcissistic hyperfat who will demand that this new girl should spend most of the time with her, help her do things, bring her food, and eat with her. Amber doesn't want to do anything, go anywhere, or think of anything that doesn't involve food, eye-fucking herself on the viewfinder, reminding everyone that she's a lesbian, and eating.
Whatever YouTube clout and social media fame she gets will be drowned out by growing fat, growing bored, and growing resentment.
