Amber has based a lot of her personality around her medical needs, hospital visits and prescriptions, and I think she's smart enough to realize that taking an anti-vaxx stance would invalidate the rest of her medical dependencies. I also think she was scared of catching COVID. Denying the effectiveness of a vaccine hits much closer to home than vague conspiracy theories about vapour in the skies.

What this inconsistency DOES prove, however, is that Amber knows chemtrails are bullshit too and only brings it up on occasion to be quirky.

My guess is that she self sabotages and gives any number of excuses as to why she stopped doing something that helps her because the real reason is shitty.
