Forgive my ignorance, but what exactly does it mean to role play a celebrity? Is it like the fan fiction we just did, or something else? Do you pretend to be the celebrity and write letters, and people write to you, or make stories up or what?

I think that celebrity roleplay is similar to any other version. Over a forum (or Instagram in this case) they kind of write stories from the perspective of a character (in Hambers case that would be Miley).

Someone's writers use roleplay to flesh out characters or get inspiration (kind of like a writing exercise) but the idea of doing it with a real person as your character is super creepy. Blatant wish fulfilment / inserting herself into the shoes of an attractive, successful person on ALR's part.

You've got a goldmine, there! Her arms... That actually made me feel sick. If I didn't know who it was, I'd say that those belonged to a heavyset, middle-aged woman. I really dislike AL and her crowd (I think that Krystle and Nena are okay ... so far), but seeing that broke my heart. She's at an age where she should be enjoying herself and independence, but she has to be in constant pain and she keeps sabotaging herself by digging these holes, and constantly lying. There's going to be a point where she gets completely fucked over and she'll be on her own, unless she passes on first.

I used to troll some rp forums back in the day and saw some celebrity rping going on.

It's literally this:

Person 1 'Miley Cyrus pulled her brand new Lexus into the driveway of the high school. She was doing a concert there. -insert extremely long-winded description of clothing, hair, shoes and makeup-
As she checked out her hair in the mirror she looked down the hall, wondering if there were any cute guys around.

Person 2 'Zeke was a hot basketball player at the high school. -Insert ridiculously long spiel about clothes and hair. Do expect guyliner - He didn't have any interest in stupid crap like celebrities and crushes, he just cared about playing. He was walking out of the gym when he bumped into someone. 'Woah, watch where you're going...' he started to say, but he forgot to talk because he was looking right into Miley's face!


I actually saw people rping Miley back when she was Hannah Montana. It's weird and creepy. It's like a normal D&D style rp (only without the game factor, of course) but using real people as your characters. I once or twice saw wolf versions of Miley and other popular Disney kids at the time being rped. I'm a bit disturbed that it's apparently still 2002.

I don't remember the exact video but in one of AL & Destin's hospital time-wasting extravaganzas Destin showed some appointment slip to the camera and AL did her siren shriek and told Destin there are "crazies" that might take advantage of her personal information. Knowing how lazy she is with everything I think we can assume the number hasn't been changed. You two hit the nail on the head. As far as I know, Monn is one of the only gossipers who has white/saltnpepper hair, which proves that maturity doesn't come with age. That makes his fake friendship with AL really weird to me - he's obsessed with a 26-year-old girlchild, and she's fearful of him in some way. (He's also a life coach? What? Someone like him isn't qualified to give life advice and uplift others.) Not that Amberlynn hasn't had her share of fake friendships, really.

Here's to you, Dana. I kinda feel bad for her, even though her "I totally come across as a hateful person lol" in her feeder profile makes her sound shady, along with whatever the fate of those two dogs of hers were. She seemed nice in those Facebook messages, even after they were leaked. Maybe Dana grew up or that profile was made during some rough patch in her life? But Destiny sided with AL. That's harsh.
