I wonder how jades family feels about her speaking to amber for 2-3 weeks and then moving in with her.

If I were Jade, I probably wouldn't let my family know that I'm grifting off a lardass in the slim hopes of making it big off YouTube. Maybe I'd say a white lie and tell them I was rooming with a friend.

It sounds more pathetic the more I read it.

Amber made a big show of informing her audience that she was spending Christmas alone in... what, like September or something? I'm not from Burgerland so idk how much of a big deal Thanksgiving is in comparison to Christmas but if neither Wipey or any of her (imaginery) friends give enough fucks to make sure she isn't spending Christmas alone then they're not gonna put themselves out for Thanksgiving either.

Burgerlandian here: Thanksgiving isn't as big of a deal as Christmas but it's a biggish deal for most. So much so that some people have two different dinners sometimes - Thanksgiving (family) and Friendsgiving. I THINK they had Friendsgiving when Amber was still staying with Eric and Rickie. Wonder what happened there? Aren't they still all best friends? 🤔🤔🤔

Amber doesn't realize that no surgeon would perform that surgery w/o insurance. She thinks cash-in-hand for it upfront should be good enough, but it isn't. What if the patient strokes, suffers a heart attack, or other catastrophic event during surgery? (Remember those consent forms?) That means much more hospitalization care aka huge expenses. Her $35k check is a pittance in the face of $200-300k bills. Health insurance is necessary, like people have told her for years.

Most doctors rightfully give her the lose-weight-get-therapy -and-then-we'll talk instructions. Almost none are as blunt as the fresh from India doctor who said incredulously when a woman told him she needed a surgery done, "But you don't have any insurance!" And of course, she got mad.
You are absolutely wrong on this. Bariatric surgeries are often performed on non-insured cash pay patients. There is no real risk from stand alone first time (that is not revisional) bariatric surgeries these days beyond the standard anesthesia risk that comes with any surgery. If surgeons were too scared of the financial implications for their patients should something major happen during the surgery, then there would be no cash pay orthopedic or plastic surgeries either. Bariatric surgery in the states, particularly the vertical sleeve gastrectomy is often same day surgery or at most a one night stay. Both the surgeon and the hospital ensure they have their cash upfront, since there's no financial risk to them should something go drastically wrong.

And even at Friendsgiving you usually invite whoever is going to be alone on Thanksgiving to your family Thanksgiving because, you know, you're friends and you care. If Amby went to a Freindsgiving it's funny how that didn't work out for her.

There’s also the chance that the family is in on it and fully supportive of the griftee chosen by Wifey. Thanksgiving and Christmas are probably planning sessions, where they work on the future of the grift.

Muh mentals, but still feeling herself enough to eye fuck the camera.
I am surprised that she did not make some dry sandwiches as she did before with Becky.
Remember how pissed she was at Eric when he came home with fast food and didn't bring her any?
"Thanks for asking me if I wanted anything boo boo"

The boys no longer have to pretend to like Fat AL now that Becky seems to have cut ties.

edit: bc words

And then said all annoyed "I thought you weren't driving by any fast food" while stuffing her face with four half sandwiches.

What happens if the patient had enough for the surgery but not for the complications afterward? Does the hospital get to write it off?

Most Bariatric surgeries nowadays are gastric sleeves (aka VSG) because it’s just cutting out the stomach into a sleeve or skinny banana shape. Therefore you lose weight from eating less, but without the malabsorption of gastric bypass (aka RNY) or duodenal switch (DS). However, there is a high risk of developing GERD with VSG because of the new stomach shape and width. Some surgeons will revise to bypass if the GERD is severe enough, or go straight to bypass if you have a history of GERD. Duodenal switch causes fat malabsorption so if you have a history of IBS you get VSG or RNY to reduce the chance of chronic dirty crapped briefs.

So while most surgeries are VSG because they’re easier and cheaper, most surgeons can or will do RNY if it’s a better operation in the long run. You also have to take vitamins along with the right diet regardless of operation type, and compliance with that is something doctors and insurance watches for in a potential patient.

The patient is responsible for paying their hospital bill in the U.S. If they don't pay, the hospital transfers the account to a collections agency. Which fucks up your credit.

In kind of a sad sign of the times, I've noticed most of the surgeons in Aus are now pushing the VSG (gastric sleeve) because it's less risky especially for their larger patients. While they know it brings more long term risk with GERD and less weightloss, they then offer the second stage of the duodenal switch procedure both to counter any weight regain and/or to restart any stalled weightloss after the initial sleeve procedure. This delayed procedure also give patients the time to get private health insurance in place for the revision, as I've yet to hear of a bariatric surgeon offering selfpay for revisional bariatric surgeries. It just seems like they are going into the surgery expecting the patient to fail, rather than making the better choice for the patient upfront.

This is actually what Dr Proctor did with Amanda in season two of Family by the Ton. He did the safer VSG procedure until she dropped under a certain weight, then converted that procedure to a duodenal switch to help her lose even more of her excess weight.

They usually let patients settle for pennies on the dollar.
...then write off the rest:
Most hospitals categorize unpaid bills into two categories. Charity care is when hospitals write off bills for patients who cannot afford to pay. When patients who are expected to pay do not, their debts are known as bad debt.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but she should do another mukbang while Jade is away. Mostly because some of her peak cuntiness occurs in those vids, which in turn is more entertaining.
She could mukbang my dick. Totally checked out from the Hamplanet a long time ago. I check in here to see if she's dead yet.

Apparently not.

But her worthless fucking corpse manages to persist. Love that for her.
