What happened to the Rafe YN video on YT? It looks like it's been deleted.
Hey, was gonna watch Rafes livestream but it's private? Will it be public again?

Sorry about that, I was fiddling around trying to make the thumbnail show up and must have set it to private on accident. It's definitely there now.

AL was asked about this SEVERAL times during her "rebuttal" video, and (surprise) ignored every.single.one. I just hope it WAS a prepaid card like some people were suggesting.

This may be reaching, but it's just an idea.

I'm not from the US, but as I understand it, you pretty much need ID for everything. And to rent an apartment/house, you need a credit rating. She has no ID, no past credit history, a very patchy work history based on contract employment (no rental agency would even consider uchoob money in their calculations - she's not PewDiePie) and has skipped all over the country. Any of those things are deal-breakers on leases; altogether she's just one gigantic red flag.

So the lease is likely in Destiny's name, possibly with a guarantor which would have to be from Destiny's family. That means there's no onus on AL to pay the rent as there's no penalty for not doing so. Yes, she can be evicted, but the person that would affect is Destiny and/or any co-signer or guarantor, and the process takes awhile. She's got a huge Sword of Damocles over Destiny's head there, and it's suspended on a line of pure guilt - "but if you leave, where will I go? I can't afford here, you know that. You're going and live with Dana and just leave me here with the rent? You agreed we were doing this TOGETHER (altho without my having any responsibility, natch.) How could you do this to meeeeeee? You're going to live for free and leave me with all this? How can you be so selfish, boohoo? Oh, but I want to keep everything, too." In other words, my house, my pets, my stuff....but YOUR problem. For some reason I seem to recall her wittering about D&D moving into the house after the lease is up, so Destiny has to keep the slate clean.

Dana and Destiny are both working and solvent, and Dana's trailer can't cost much - she may even own it outright. So there's a very plausible scenario whereby Destiny has taken on sole responsibility for the rent, utilities and/or anything else which can hurt her credit score if it's defaulted, either through necessity, guilt or a combo of both. If there is no punishment to Amber to skip the rent, why pay it?

Along the same lines, I can't see even Destiny being naive enough to give her a card as a present, although in A's amazingly childish worldview that may be a story she thinks is plausible to tell. Again, reality would indicate no credit/debit card and Destiny being guilted into getting her one. She may even have done so to loosen A's vice-like grip on her - "you know I have to keep callimg you, how else am I supposed to pay for things?" Dana's leaked messages made it pretty obvious Destiny was desperate for an out and could well have made some unwise decisions just to get this gargantuan blood-sucking tick off her.

I don't know how venal she is, this is pure conjecture. But if she's found a way to skip anything due to the backlash landing on Destiny, she may have very little in the way of outgoings. If you're not paying rent, utilities and taxes because you have no ID or stability so can't sign anything and face repercussions, you can probably buy a fair amount of crappy food and horrible 50p trinkets from the rejects box on just $50 a week. Is she that low, d'yez all reckon?

It's that or she's eating deep-fried lard on cam for some fapping fetishist somewhere. Oh, no, I forgots - her moook boorngs are totally not about that. Silly me.

Anyone know when the lease is up? Because, between her, the pets and all her crap, I can't see how moving in with Becky is even feasible. Becky has a room; AL has a house full of tat that she's not been able to maintain properly (the deposit will be eaten up in cleaning fees and they'll be very lucky if they're not sued for new flooring cos of the pee-pads everywhere.) And she's even worse off in terms of a lease now as she doesn't even have the contract job. She can't resolve it by just getting a room-mate, she needs someone to effectively take on the whole shebang and prove they are fiscally positioned to do so. A labourer's job in a sawnmill ain't gonna cut it. Methinks she best get a FeederDaddy stat or she's fucked.

And just how the fuck DID she get to keep everything? Destiny got a TV and Jax, and she had to fight for at least one of them!

I have a feeling she'll save this question for a SnapChat Q&A to make good click bait for a video. She'll prolly not actually answer with truth. "She did, but since she drives so much to take care of my cats I gave it back".
How funny would it be to find out Dana went n cancelled it.
Speaking of Dana, wish she'd spill some more damn tea. Destiny won't let her I'm guessing. Destiny has a weird love for big ol Amber still

Well, depends on the rental agency. I've gotten an apartment with no ID beyond a passport and no job, but I had a bank statement demonstrating that I was more than able to pay the rent for the term. I've had other agencies let me rent with only the promise of a new job. Smaller agencies and those run as a side line by people with day jobs are the best bet there. More likely here, though, everything was in Dustin's name and on her neck. Unfortunately, people in tiny towns often don't learn about setting boundaries, so I can totally see Dustin going to all this trouble for an ex who is doing nothing but shitting on that generosity.

Depending on the area and how low her rent is, her takings from the vlogging may well cover most of her bills. I was always shocked at how little it cost to survive in the town I was in. There was a set of apartments there that rented for $50. NOT a typo! The rooms were awful and the tenants were scary, but still it could be done. The costs are incredibly low. She wouldn't live well, but she'd get enough calories to maintain 500 pounds and still be gaining.

But Amberlynn hates drama!

That's the mating call of the dramawhore. If they really hated it, they wouldn't have any around them because they'd avoid it or destroy it too quickly to be an issue requiring a declaration. The stress of drama might be unpleasant, but it's like the cuts a self-harming emo kid makes in her arms. It makes them feel important and alive and relevant and special. And as we've seen from Hamber's poetry, she's well aware that she brings no redeeming qualities whatsoever to the table.

The fact that grown ass adults, who have known each other less than a month, are screaming online about necklaces and gas money and backstabbing has caused my eyes to roll back so far in my head that I can hear them rattling around in my stomach.

Small towns. I've personally seen any number of grandmas in their 50s behaving in catty, nasty, back-handed ways that would mortify most tweens in more sophisticated circles. It's all they have to do. It gets blown out of proportion in their minds because it's their only form of validation. At least it makes good entertainment for people watching these grown-ass people implode with self-created crises.

View attachment 244359 It was around 90 degrees out today. Good thing she's bundled up in a sweater.

Seriously, she looks more like a 50-year-old Bulgarian housekeeper with every passing day. Women that young should not have jowls that bad. Wouldn't doubt that she keeps her air conditioner working on overdrive though. Speaking of which, her abortive GFM sure didn't last long. I wonder if someone told her she could get in legal trouble for asking for WLS money without eventually getting actual WLS.

I thought the lease was up in February or so...I'm bad with time but I thought it was just a couple months after they broke up. . I could be wrong but that's what I thought.

If the lease was up, Destiny could tell management she was not renewing it and would not be responsible. The management company then could decide to rent to Amber on a month to month basis, and only she is responsible. They do that often. Ecause it's easier than evicting somebody and re-renting. Nobody may rent to her off the street but she was already there. And if it's in her name and she's paying the rent on time, now she's building up a rent history.

I think the credit card thing is a non-issue. Destiny is not a shopper like Amber so gave her a pre-paid card as a gift to buy what she wanted. Once the money is gone, that's the end of it. I can't see anybody who is planning to break up with somebody, as Destiny was by Christmas, just giving a revolving credit card in her name.

It's likely that Amber makes enough on YouNow and YT to pay rent and bills. Maybe not enough to shop like she used to now that Destiny isn't sharing bills, but maybe enough to survive. She lives in a very cheap part of the country.

If Destiny gave her prepaid CC, how would Rafe know about it? That card would be blown on chokers and done with by mid-January, and never to be brought up again.
I feel like Rafe would only know about it if it was a card that was still used to this day. Dana did insinuate that Destiny was still supporting Amber a little while back. I assumed it was about the rent, but maybe also the credit card bill.

Does Amber even have a bank account? Surely you need ID in the US to open one of those?

Even if she did have her own account I'm sure I heard reference to a joint account once (which, by the timing, must have been opened after her ID was lost so may actually be D's bank account they used jointly) - maybe all their money was put into that and, if Amber didn't have access to a card on that account prior to their split, Destiny's only option would be to give her a card in her own name or to be there to pay every single time A wanted more tat from Walmart. And, conveniently, if Destiny had to be there to pay then she might as well take Fat Al with her. That wouldn't get old quickly...

Amber seems to insinuate herself incredibly deeply - and very fast - into the lives of her partners., the tentacles root deep. This is the kind of arrangement that sounds just fine when a naive couple start living together but is incredibly hard to untangle and can be used by one party to maintain links and control with the other when it all goes tits-up. And maybe it's an American thing, but I've never heard of prepaid debit/credit cards. Gift cards for a set amount for a particular store yes, but that's not how it came over - and if it were that, why would she be so evasive? I'm amazed by how many Americans still deal in cash, maybe Amber was one of them? The "christmas present" is the sort of lame-arse cover story she'd come up with rather than explain she's a) dependent to the nth degree and b) the lengths exes will go to in an attempt to disengage her hooks. The world's biggest lamprey on your back must get a bit tiring.

Dunno. It's all speculation. But that's just a big word for gossip....and THAT is why we're all here!

If Destiny got her a Green Dot Visa prepaid card, she could be adding more money to it on a regular basis.

I don't know about an American thing, but it's a thing. Prepaid visa debit cards that can be used anywhere that accepts visa. You sign for them like a credit card, but once the money is gone you can't use it any longer.

It might be possible that Amber's YT and YN payments are being direct deposited to a banking account owned by Destiny, if Amber never had the proper paperwork to get her own account. That would explain why Destiny "pays" for the card. I do remember at one point Amber said they have a joint account and they just "know" how much each of them make when it comes to spending what's in there.

It's possible that Destiny gave Amber a debit card that can be reloaded with x amount of money as needed. Many parents give those kinds of cards to their children when they move away to college to pay for groceries and other living expenses. As dense as Destiny may seem, I don't think she's thick enough to give Amber an actual credit card. Amber has a spending problem almost as bad as her eating problem.

Saw this amazing photoshop on YTT.

So much for your "full time job" AL, now you're making us go into the archives.

Rewatched the classic Vlogmas 10 from last year "A CHRISTMAS SURPRISE!" (source of the infamous gif below). We've talked a lot lately/over time about how AL insinuates herself into other peoples' friend groups and families. I remember when this video came out that we talked about how cringey it was that she involved herself in Destiny's family's surprise (her sister coming into town early), but I somehow glossed over their "cover story" for how they were going to get Destiny's mom over to their apartment.

This makes me so sick. It was CLEARLY AL's idea. About 2:20 in, she tells us that the ruse is that "I'm going to text her, or Destiny's going to text her, and we're going to tell her that I'm in a crisis" and she'll "drop what she's doing" to come over to tend to me because "that's the type of person she is". What 25/26 yo woman calls upon her gf's mother for emotional support? And apparently they've used her in this manner before because Amber knows D's mom will come running. They couldn't just invite her to dinner? Especially because at about 4:00, she talks about how Destiny's mom has been making "family-time" dinners for them on Saturday and had already been planning on seeing them for dinner that night until they dropped out at the last minute and *pissed* her off (no doubt she had already begun preparations for Lard Al's trough). The biggest surprise would be if AL reciprocated to her carers by preparing dinner for them for once.

PS: I just love how smug she is in this video, especially because it is likely that Destiny was already at least talking to Dana at this time!

ETA: I lold at about 9:00 when AL tries to put her plan in motion by texting Mindy (apparently Destiny's mom's name) telling her she "needs someone to talk to" and Mindy doesn't text her back.
