Out of everything she listed in the video, she only gave about a minute or so to explain how she accused her ex of "rose and petals eavesdrop"-ing her.
It's like she realized how she's caught herself in that lie and decided to skim past it in the hopes that nobody would notice. She hasn't yet realized her viewers aren't as oblivious as she thinks they are.

Absolutely, she's like a waddling tabloid. It's impossible to believe anything she says because even her fessing up is set up in a way that's meant to be an attempt to disorient her viewers until she gets away with whatever she's trying to do or say. It's almost nauseating to watch.

You know, I thought about this for a minute while she told the story. On its face, it seems like the person was ungrateful, right? How dare they get upset at ME for offering them some money! All they had to do was say 'no'. Fair enough, right?

Well...

For starters, I've not met a homeless person yet who, if asking for money, will turn down a gift card. So, that tells me this person was NOT asking for money. They weren't on a street corner with a sign - they weren't street begging. Amberlynn ASSUMED she was homeless and then assumed she wanted her money. That type of assumption would piss anyone off. I wouldn't necessarily feel grateful if, out of the blue, a random stranger pushed some gift cards in my face asking me to take 'em. It's entirely possible the person felt insulted. It's probable, I'd say, they even refused and Amberlynn continued to push the cards, which led to the anger (only fueled, maybe, by Amberlynn's passive-aggressive insults).

I'd like to ask Amberlynn how she would react if, sitting at a restaurant, someone came up to her and gave her a book on dieting? Would she smile, say thanks, and go on her merry way? Doubtful.

Moreover, this kinda ties into her other story about the waitress and the Cheesecake Factory assuming Destiny's gender by calling her 'Sir' (which Toxoplasmosis mentioned) and I'm guessing Amberlynn wasn't very polite there (despite it possibly just being a mistake and no desire to be rude). Don't assume someone standing on the street corner wants your pity and you won't have to worry about them getting angry at you.

Not quite. The homeless lady she initially bought the gift cards for was gone by the time she purchased them and tried to give them to her. So in trying to do a feel good favor she tried to give them to someone else to show how generous she is.

From what I understand though she approaches this lady who is pumping gas trying during the holidays probably busy with her own problems and holiday travel and tries to tell her the whole story. It boils down to "I'm amberlynn, I did such a good thing because I'm such a good person and now I have these gift cards which I suppose you can have, merry Christmas!" But she tries to tell her the story from the beginning, and who gives a shit.

It was a hugely self serving gesture and the lady didn't want to listen to her long winded stupid story. That's why she acted rude and why AL decided to call her a bitch.

If AL truly wanted to do a nice thing for a stranger she could have just walked up and given the lady the gift cards without explaining her entire stupid story about what a good person she is for buying something for someone in need, but that wouldn't quite get the asspats she craves.

I do wonder, does Destiny's family see how unhealthy AL is? Not just physically, but emotionally. Destiny is clearly a slow-in-the-mind, but not enough so that she can't make her own decisions, but I'd figure that her parents would be cautious about people trying to use their daughter because Destiny isn't the brightest crayon in the box. Destiny seems like a nice enough person, just very immature and that's not necessary her fault given her limitations.

What gets me is less the weight issue and more the spending issue.
I have a tendency to splurge a buy stuff I really shouldn't and go out to eat more than I should, and seeing her "hauls" makes me cringe, physically, not even metaphorically. I'm kinda using her as an example of what not to do with a limited income.

I found the commentary to be almost as annoying as AL herself. That said, the way she tried to tiptoe around not just the fact that she's too fat to be a model, but that she is also in no way model material in terms of beauty was pretty funny.
