I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she's fixated on the license for a few reasons: 1. She's trying to convince her audience of her autonomy per usual; 2. It's a clumsy way to say 'FUCK YOU BECKY. I don't need you!'; 3.
Amber adamantly refused to even consider ever driving. Ever. She was refusing minutes before Jade showed up and pretended to love her. It was only then Amber started oinking about needing to get her license because Jade suggested she do so. Perhaps she even required she do it within a certain time frame. That was for Jade and no one else.
'oh, to schedule the driving test, I need to take a written exam first' (not true after you turn 18 )
lol whut? No one's letting anyone take the driving portion of the test until they've passed the written, no matter the age.

Is that a recent change? When I got my license, I didn't need to take the written test but that was awhile ago. If that's the case, then hey. Just another excuse under her belt.

The “getting a license to drive” is on the same level as “losing 300 pounds”, “moving to Seattle”, or “going to college”, namely, they are all aspirational and will never happen unless someone pushes her very hard to do it. In reality, she has no interest in doing any of these and many other things. On New Years Day, Amber will rehash her New Year resolutions, like every years, that will never be fulfilled.

She does it for the dopamine hit.

Apparently, saying you're going to do something gives you a similar rush to actually completing a task. It's probably why she is constantly saying she will do things and doesn't follow through. She has already received the ass pats so why bother?

Well of course that and the fact Fat Amber feels the need to pretend she has goals and is working towards them.

We all know the only thing she is working towards is 600 pounds.

Without me ya'll wouldn't have nothing reeeeeeeeeee pay attention to meeeeeeeee

Ya'll ever wonder if Amber wakes up in a sweat at night (not in a bed of course, but in a sagging recliner propped up by breezeblocks) and realizes that she spent tens of thousands of dollars on Necky's toys? A halfwit caregiver will always find means of an escape, but an education sticks with you for a lifetime :story:

"Ask a lawyer at a certunn law firm what if the uh, company just ends? What if that don't work out?"

... I'm sorry. I don't usually watch the videos anymore but I need to watch this one because out of all the exceptional things Amber has said, this has got to be one of the most idiotic attempts at making her case that I've ever seen.

That's where you're wrong, Fat Amber.

People with drive and ambition DO often think of where they are going to next. They often update their resume with new skills acquired and evaluate if they're stagnating at what they're currently doing for a job. Many people leave for greener pastures or look to the future to see how they can better themselves and their income.

Fat Amber has no grasp on any of this and lives in her own little world where she works just as hard as everyone else. She has no prospects, no professional skills or employment history. I'm not sure why this question seems to upset her so much. Perhaps it's because she DOES realise she is a middle aged woman with no marketable skills besides being a symbol of what not to do with your life.

"I'm not focusing on 5 years down the line or 10 years." We can all see that Amber. Maybe you've just realised you won't live that long? Why worry if you'll be in a box before your YouTube career dies. Love that.

edit: Also, that dress don't fit gorl.

This is a consistent thing with Amber that continually ticks me off even though I should be used to it by now. She's addressing these questions as if 1) her audience thinks in the same short sighted way that she does 2) that her chosen profession is similar, if not the same, as the regular working person and 3) that Youtube is a long term sustainable way to make money.

Here's the thing, Amber: how many Youtubers have long term success ONLY on that platform? Even the popular youtubers - Jenna Marbles as an example - have other avenues of income like Twitch or a podcast. Hell, even Onision has a (horrifying) Onlyfans account and he was actually popular at one point. The fact that you would even try to compare your job and justify not thinking about the future to people who actually work for a living and maybe aren't necessarily in the position to plan 5 years ahead because they have bigger things to worry about like BILLS and FAMILY is laughable, infuriating and frankly just another item on the ever growing list of what makes her so unlikeable.

well the depop earring saga just proves how much effort she puts into being a #independant business woman

and the book she's "writing" is more about journotherapy for her than being something to sell or publish in the future & her journal sponsorship was kinda sketch, but there was nothing else after that

I think when the cpm drops back down, she'll try some new low effort venture without consulting anyone with any experience so she can milk her mistakes for views

Jade posted on LinkedIn again, saying that she has a disability. She said she is bipolar, so is that the disability she is talking about? Or is there some other disability causing her to be dumb enough to date Amber?
Meanwhile this is what non diversity hire Security and Compliance Analysts are posting on their LinkedIn accounts:
Cybersecurity researchers on Tuesday disclosed multiple security flaws affecting 150 different multifunction printers (MFPs) from HP Inc that could be potentially abused by an adversary to take control of vulnerable devices, pilfer sensitive information, and infiltrate enterprise networks to mount other attacks.

The two weaknesses — collectively called Printing Shellz — were discovered and reported to HP by F-Secure Labs researchers Timo Hirvonen and Alexander Bolshev on April 29, 2021, prompting the PC maker to issue patches earlier this month —

  • CVE-2021-39237 (CVSS score: 7.1) - An information disclosure vulnerability impacting certain HP LaserJet, HP LaserJet Managed, HP PageWide, and HP PageWide Managed printers.
  • CVE-2021-39238 (CVSS score: 9.3) - A buffer overflow vulnerability impacting certain HP Enterprise LaserJet, HP LaserJet Managed, HP Enterprise PageWide, and HP PageWide Managed products.
