Now, what interests me most is not the fails. Hamber is a failure in every way, and will always be a failure. We know this.

No, what interests me is her ever present "Day One" spiel. The language is always the same, the plan always the same or even loftier than the year before when she made no progress at all, and didn't come close to reaching the goal. In the year from 2020 to 2021, as the video points out, she lost a grand total of about 20 pounds. This year, once again, the same "That means I need to lose 2.something pounds a week!" even though she has never managed to do this since I've been watching her shit videos. What did she weigh in at this year? 540 pounds? That would mean instead of losing 2.something pounds a week, she gained about three quarters of a pound a week. But all of this is totally doable, guise!

The funniest part is her insistence that she has "done every diet there is" and failed. Except for the one that would actually work, and that involves no apps or fees or anything, really: reduced calories, normal portion sizes, and exercise. I know it's a shocker, but it's just another LAH.

Apparently talking about achieving something can give you a similar dopamine hit to actually achieving that goal. I think that's why she speaks this way.

The problem is she gives herself a pass everytime she fails. She seems to think just trying is as good as succeeding when in life, failing is a huge part of recognising where you went wrong, fixing yourself then trying again. If you're going to give yourslelf an out or a pass everytime along with a little pat on the back for even thinking about attempting to achieve a goal, you'll never succeed.

Sure, it's not a great feeling when you fail but it's important. It helps you reflect on yourself and your behaviour. It helps you "ruhhlize" where you need to grow and change.

This is why our gorl will never succeed. It's all too hard for her and she'd just prefer to eat Uber Eats and do expert laygos.

It does indeed, especially if you continually repeat it as Hamber does. Whether it's a resolution or "positive affirmation" as she likes to call it, it's still just a wish until some action is taken. In her case, she does the first part of it - the planning, the deciding which failed diet she's going to do again, without changing anything from the last time she failed it, the buying of jeerrrrrnols, fancy pens, food that she hates, like veggies and fruit, or saying to going to restrict herself from something like takeout or mountains of carbs - once she does that, she gets the hit and her single brain cell shuts down, and she's "shto proud" of herself for doing that much.

1) Asked how much $$$ she's saved for WLS but won't answer. 5 weeks since she sent in the applications & paperwork so she e-mailed them. They told her they DO take insurance then told her to call them back - many phone calls later... they're stuck at her insurance no longer covers WLS in Kentucky? Still back & forth phone calls. Maybe just me but that doesn't prevent her from saving since this has just happened over the last 2 days.

2) Ozempic shortage? I have no knowledge of that. Oh, THIN celebrities are taking & presumably causing the shortage... she insinuates that.

3) No rewards planned for hitting her WL goals. Good, because she won't reach them.

4) Fav meal latey - home made poke bowls. Could eat daily.

5) She thinks it's fatphobic that people think Wipey is a feeding her or using her because it implies she doesn't deserve any of the good, thin thigs. Oh & it's shallow & disrespectful.

People find beauty in other things about her. Like what? Just give me ONE teensy example. But she doesn't think she's beautiful. "We deserve love" - love is not an entitlement.

Insinuating Jade is a grifter or feeder means all of Amber's exes were the same, and it's fatphobic. This whole part about the clinic not realizing WLS isn't covered by insurance is still confusing me. Didn't she say her clinic was in a 'connecting' state? I'm almost as bad at geography as Amber, but Google tells me that 7 states connect to Kentucky: Illinois, Indianna, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, and Misouri. That link I provided shows that out of all of these States, only Illinois and West Virginia are on the list for requiring insurance to cover the bariatric surgery. So is her clinic in Illinois or West Virginia? Because the clinic would know it's not covered if they were in one of the other 7 states, right?
