Yeah, I’m not understanding the timeline on Amber’s latest bullshit. Her mother was still on drugs when she started YT, then she went to prison. I’m pretty sure Amber had very little (if anything) to do with her during this time. And IIRC, back in 2020, both her and Kristine were trying to find her dad but had some trouble doing so. Doesn’t sound like they were on speaking terms.

Amber and Aunt Tammie had a fight over Amber not even wanting to mail a "Thinking of You" card to the prison where Kristine was being treated for CANCER. All because Amber couldn't forgive Kristine for what she put Amber through. I think it was during that public facebook spat where they were arguing over Amber's paperwork, but it might have been a different convo. Amber was also making "I don't have a mom/family" videos during Mother's Day around this time and up to just weeks before Amber's cancer Dx. There is NO FUCKING WAY Amber was so angry that she couldn't even send a CARD, yet also had a heart-to-heart conversation with her mom explaining that Amber was going to make multiple YouTube videos blaming Kristine for things such as Amber ingesting meth as a 'child' (TEEN), for Kristine bringing a cousin into the home that repeatedly sexually assaulted/molested Amber, and for Kristine's infant son almost dying due to her negligence. I was curious at Amber's talking about getting Semaglutide from a Med Spa. Semaglutide is the generic name for Ozempic, which I'm sure everyone here (except for me) already knew. Looking into it here: https://www.drugs.com/semaglutide.html it looks like Amber wasn't taking Ozempic back in 2022, but rather Wegovy. Ozempic has a max 2.0mg dose pen, and Amber said that her doctor wanted her to build up to a 2.4mg dose (which only Wegovy has). This doesn't really matter as it's pretty much the same stuff, but that IS a discrepancy so I thought I'd mention it.

Anyway, I found this page: https://www.popsugar.com/fitness/semaglutide-med-spas-warnings-49354256 (I know, fluffy-looking site, but the article seems decent) talking about the problems with going to med spas for treatments. Basically, the author explains that they are likely getting compound versions of tirzepatide (the active ingredient), as that would be the only way for them to get it for a drastically cheaper cost than the patient getting an Rx directly from their doctor. The compound versions are modified to be different enough to technically not be the exact same drug. The problem with this is that there can be a lot of side effects with real Semaglutide, and it's not known how that may change with these various compound versions. And the staff on site may not have any idea exactly what they have, and what those altered effects could be. In fact Novo Nordisk has filed at least a dozen lawsuits for this very reason!! Well, that's their OFFICIAL stance. I'm sure greed is playing a role. And they're pissed that they're still in the time period where they should get exclusive manufacturing rights to it, yet other companies are going in for a big fat slice of that pie.

It's interesting every medication prescribed to Amber interacts with Semaglutide (anti-depressants, beta blockers, and ethinylestradiol - not that this matters I guess, as Amber refuses to take her prescribed meds). It also enhances the toxic effects of alcohol, and we all know how much Amby loves her drinkie-poos. It's also being noticed that one of the side-effects of weight loss is actually being caused by MUSCLE LOSS with some people. Amber's YEARS of "building her stamina" will all be for nothing after becoming a "skinny legend", while her laayyyygs get too weak to hold up the 150lbs of lipedema on her already 170lb (Amber's ultimate goal weight) frame.

Though, who am I kidding. *IF* she takes Ozempic/Wegovy/whatever again, it will end just like it did the last time she took it:

1. Amber refuses to give herself the injections (although they now have a oral tablet called Rybelsus that can be taken daily... which Amber can put in her massive pill case and then forget to take every day!)
2. Amber refuses to go above the minimal starting doh-says (doses) to an actual therapeutic level

The 12th step is when the alcoholic/addict proclaims that they have had a spiritual awakening and declare that GOD has communicated with them and forgiven them (so you should, too, as God is so much better and smarter than YOU are). The 13th Step in AA is a WELL ESTABLISHED TRADITION (although curiously omitted from 'The Big Book' and other offical AA literature). In fact, it's so well known, just typing in "what are 13th steppers" into any search engine will yield a SHOCKING amount of articles dedicated to this widespread practice.

(For those who are fortunate enough to not have had any dealings with these monsters, they are members who more or less have their own shit sort of in order, and behave in a predatory manner to newcomers. It's most often predatory males seeking out vulnerable females to sexually exploit, but there are sometimes cases of financial exploitation done by and to both males and females. It's why they have a rule that sponsors and sponsees must be same-sex in order to avoid sexual exploitation (though I'm sure gay and lesbian exploitation still occurs - and financial exploitation can occur regardless of gender).

AA didn't die the hero, but instead lived long enough to become the villian. It was great in the 30s when nothing else was available, but AA uses their massive coffers to prevent any other (potentially better) treatment methods from being developed so they can maintain the monopoly and cash. There used to be a dude who ran "The Orange Papers" (dot com, dot org - he tried to get all the domains). He would document all of the really shitty abuses going on "in the rooms". Now, he had some wacky ideas, like believing that any alcoholic/addict can return to 'moderate drinking' with enough practice - which is universally rejected by BOTH AA and researchers studying addiction and habit formation as dangerous and mostly wrong. Yeah, so while being a good reference, he wasn't a PERFECT reference (and it also may explain why he hasn't been able to maintain his sites lately...) It looks like someone is trying to keep his work online and has produced https://orangepapers.eth.limo/ I haven't read *this* particular site, but if it is a true copy of his original work, it's worth a read and you may be shocked (horrified, disgusted) by what you discover.

There was actually a group that was exposed for twisting the "acts of service" tennant into turning newcomers into SERVANTS for the oldtimers. They had to clean their houses, mow their lawns, buy their groceries. The stuff he documented was pretty heinous. The stats on AA vs 'Spontaneous Remission' (aka getting your shit together by yourself) is actually surprising. And being an outsider obsevering this while suporting people who went through the program... I can say that a lot of things he documented were pretty commonplace from what I saw. There are also problems, such as people being COURT ORDERED to regular meetings. So potentially you get a sheltered young adult or a frail old granny in the rooms with a violent repeat offender who is ONLY THERE to get his paper signed because this was one of his parole or bail conditions. NO ONE who says that they want help is turned away - even someone currently completely wasted and potentially volitile, so violence can (and sometimes does) occur at these meetings. Some meetings are better than others, just as some parts of town are safer than others, but the risk is always there. And it's not like a treatment facility with security and a protocol for aggressive patients. It's just a bunch of strangers in a run-down church basement.

The fellowship of AA - having events you can go to where you know there won't be drinking, and something to go do so you won't just sit at home and think about drinking - IS very useful for the recovering addict (and is why so many also do well in fundamental churches that demand you to tithe and suck up all of your free time with bible study, and alcohol/drug free activites and events). And AA would be great... if it wasn't for the fact that IT'S FULL OF GODDAMN ALCOHOLICS AND ADDICTS! (I joke, but you know what I'm saying).

This was all WAYYY off topic, but Amber's so boring that I figured no one would mind too much for a little off-topic stuff in the thread. And not like it matters. Terminally Unique-Lynn is so much better than all of those OTHER plebs suffering from addiction. Having said that, I'll PL a little by stating that I'm sober in AA for almost 42 years, and one thing the old timers told me early on is that no one owes me forgiveness. I was young when I got sober (24), so I didn't have the chance to do a lot of the kind of wreckage a lot of my compatriots did, but it was bad enough. And while some people were thrilled that I was sober, others were like "have a nice rest of your life without me". Some folks aren't going to be mollified by an apology, no matter how sincere. And the spiritual growth is that all the step work becoming aware of faults and becoming willing to change helps me accept that I've ruined some relationships beyond repair.

Don't get me wrong; she's doing fairly well considering how lazy, unskilled, and unwilling to improve she is. And she HAS convinced a lot of people - at least in the short term. And if you're willing to put on hazmat suit and wade through her comments section ( or reactor's comments sections) now and again, there are many comments admitting to supporting her until *insert event here* where they witnessed a mask slip and realized they were being duped. And up until recently, she's managed to effortlessly and seamlessly slither from caretaker to caretaker (although the amount they provide for her lesses with each iteration).

BUT if she were a master manipulator, she'd still be on an upwards trend (or at least able to pivot and maintain). Instead we can see everything slowly falling apart with her unable to adapt.
