Learning to be Fearless was one of her first big influences, along with Pinkk Sparkles.
You can hear it a lot in her intonation, especially the sing songy voice, facial expressions and certain word choices.
She must really envy Alex. She has a house, vehicles, a husband and now a baby.
Can’t see ALR really wanting any of this stuff; not unless someone can make it all happen for her because God forbid she put a lick of effort into anything.
She’s what…?, 33 now? By this age, most men and women are well launched in life. They may have life partners, 1 or more children and most have settled on a profession. Even a super specialized medical practitioner has finally finished all their training.
They have whatever level of social and community involvement they choose and in spite of the lousy economic situation, they’re doing okay.
Compare that to Amber. Middle aged issues are going to start hitting early, especially medical stuff. She can’t sustain any sort of committed relationship for so many reasons. Her choices are increasingly down market.
She owns nothing of value, has no education, no personality of her own and no friend group. No real hobbies or interest and technically, she is at what should be the best decade of her life.
Her few brain calls must be getting uneasy, recognizing at some base level that “something ain’t right” but not having a clue exactly what’s wrong or how to fix it.
She can keep her YouTube infamy; nothing about her life has any appeal to anyone with a real interest in an interesting life.
ETA: I Call Shenanigans is 100% correct. I just don’t think Amber is capable of seeing all the potential failure points. She’s probably falling for the performance.
