Would someone who spends as much time glued to her phone as Amber does, even notice if an animal was acting unwell?
Would it have mattered? Even when she noticed that Twinkie was "shaking in pain", Amber decided that it was more important to go eat at Chili's with Destiny (and the vet was just 5 minutes away on the same road).
Speaking of that - wonder if Twinkie is still getting the medication to help with the joint damage that Amber caused Twinkie by overfeeding her to the size and shape of a rugby ball?
'm also starting to question the timeline. The OG Rarity missing poster initially stated she went missing on the 18th. Then in her truth video she said that rarity actually went missing on the 17th "sometime" around 5 or 6 am.
The concert was on the 14th.
But we hadn't seen rarity since the drive up to John Wayne Gravy's house.
We saw Rarity's tail during Amber's "where i've been" video uploaded on Oct 23rd (
@Hayduraide posted it a few pages back). It was clearly Rarity because all 4 cats have unique tails (Rarity's is dark gray and smooth. Wasabi's is black, thick, and coarse. Daniel's is dark brown, soft, and flowy. And based on the breed, Marc Jacob's tail is most likely smooth, gray and black striped, and probably has a white ring near the tip). So she was definitely there after Amber settled in to the house, but there's no real way to know exactly how long ago that was actually filmed.
Yeah, the story keep changing. First Rarity was lost on the night of the 16th; then it was the morning of the 17th (yet she didn't report it until the afternoon or so of the 18th). Even if it was the 17th, why the 36ish hour wait? You open a can of tuna, then check every possible nook and cranny while calling and shaking a bag of Temptations. Still no sign of the cat? Then something's wrong. Do a thorough search of about a 1/4-1/2 mile radius around the property. No sign of the cat? Call it; she's missing. I wonder if she went missing earlier than that, and Amber's changing the missing date closer and closer to the poster date so it looks better for her audience? I mean, she would look like an absolute shitbag if, let's say, she noticed the cat missing on the 14th and went to the concert anyway. Or if she noticed the door open after COMING BACK from the concert.
Then the reason how it happened kept changing. First it was that her mind was too sleepy to close the door. Then it was because her mind was busy because of the haydurs.
(Protip for Amber, as she's probably here reading: What other people think of you is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. And trying to control what people think and say is even more absurd and insane. Get off of the gossip websites and stop blaming them for your "mentulz"). Then it was because the curtain obscured the door. Then it was that Rarity was an explorer who loved the outdoors. From all the way back to the Krystle era, Amber showed by habit she would automatically lock the patio doors everytime she closed them - even when Monkey was still outside. You have to THINK to not do an automatic habit - so why didn't she lock the door that time?
The more she talks, the less sense her story makes. I'm still undecided between it being a stunt for engagement (and Rarity just gets closed into a bedroom the odd time that Amber's been filming), or Milo got a little too rough with the cat.
Or maybe Amber DID close the door, and Emily came around right after and opened it while Amber was hurpling around somewhere else in the house, then convinced Amber that it must have been Amber who left it open. That's purely speculation with no evidence, and a pretty dark thought. I mean, Occam's razor; the simplest explanation is the most likely one. I just wonder because of the whole "Diabetic in the Basement" story, and the person talking to Jordy suggesting that Emily was engaging in various forms of psychological abuse in order to make the DIB finally snap. And if you've ever dealt with an narcissist/abuser, you constantly find yourself in situations where Occam's razor never applies. If nothing else, it's thunk-provoking.
[Edited to Add: Genuine question: If the concert took 3 hours to get to, they were there early and had to wait, then the performance was 3 hours, then the drive was over 3 hours (3 hours plus the time to fight the traffic to get out of the venue)... where did Twinkie and Milo pee while the gorls were away for so long? Tiny dogs (even grossly overweight dogs who are SUPPOSED to be tiny) have tiny bladders. Maybe Amber likes to hold in her pee for 10-12 hours, but I doubt Milo could and certainly not Twonks. As gross as Emily is, I don't see her tolerating the dogs using her floors as a toilet. If Emily if confident that her cats won't get out, lives in a decent area, and has a shepherd, maybe EMILY is used to leaving the patio door cracked so the dog could go out to pee?]
[Edit #2
@Terfatron That looked to be Milo (Emily's shepherd) in the backyard. And that was probably a mushmouth molmunt, because she's never called the cat "Rudy" before.]
