I haven't seen the Ankle's reaction, but during the last video we had a weigh-in, we didn't see the scale, or Amber for that matter, at all. All we got were a few seconds of video footage of the bathroom ceiling, with the talking scale announcing the weight.

Sooo, Amber could have manipulated the weigh-in in whatever way she wanted outside of our FOV. Funny how she can't set up the camera to face the scale, eh?

And lastly, every scale I've seen, digital or not, could be tared (substracting a base amount from the total weight). So yes, that weight reading is very suspicious.
