Sorry, did I miss something? Where is this "Amber getting a new kitten" talk coming from? I know trusting Amber's own word is folly, but iirc whenever she was asked in QnAs about new pets, she has denied it, consistently too. I'm not saying I immediately believe her, but contrast that to her voicing how much she wanted a kitten before Gracie was sent to explore too hard.
